In memory of
Steven Paul Chucknick

September is here and, as usual, it sets the mood for the months that follow. Although we always think and talk about Steve, it is the thoughts and memories that are not expressed in words that linger. While life goes on for most of us, there are always so many underlying thoughts and feelings about how different things would have been with Steve still here—for all of us, not just for Barb and Steven. George and I would still have him and Barb as "partners in crime," and everything we all do together is not nearly the same without him. There is so much that we do and so many changes that have taken place that we can clearly imagine Steve's reaction to, or the enjoyment he would have taken in them. We all miss Steve. It's something that we will never get over.

With loving memory from a sister-in-law that he was very good to,
Anne

In memory of
Zoe Falkenberg

I was eight years old when 9/11 happened! I remember seeing it happen, and I didn't understand! My heart aches at the lives lost on that day! And when I hear of your lost life my heart hurts more! May you rest in peace, and may you fly through the clouds like the little angel you are! R.I.P., sweetheart!

In memory of
Joseph Agnello

You are the most Christ-like person I will ever know. Without you, I would have never known how important Jesus is in my life. Have fun dancing with the angels, my brother. I know that you will be there waiting for me at the gates of heaven!

In memory of
Kristen Montanaro

I was at my daughter's soccer camp in Harvey Cedars, NJ this morning, and I took a walk to the water with my two-year-old son and my dog while I waited for her to finish. I noticed the beautiful park bench with Kristen's name engraved. Today is August 26th, and a balloon and flowers were attached to the bench. As I read the dates on the bench, I realized it was her birthday today and that she passed away on 9/11/01. Just reading the date brought to my eyes tears and images I'd rather not remember. You see, I was at 1 World Trade Center on the morning of 9/11/01. I often ask myself why I survived. As I look at my little son's smiling face and listen to my daughter's laughter on the field, I have to believe it was because they were meant to be. My heart and prayers go out to your family.

In memory of
Frankie Serrano

I used to own a record/tattoo shop on Elizabeth Ave and Broad St.... Frankie used to come in all the time. I remember him being a really awesome person, and I'll never forget him showing me his tattoo of Tweety Bird on his arm. We used to hang for hours at the store! When I found out he passed away, I remember crying as if I knew him for years! I never met anybody in his family, but I just wanna let them know that I'll never forget him and that his memories live on! God bless you, Frankie....

In memory of
Michael Cammarata

While I never met Michael, I can tell you his bravery and gallantry in the line of duty was unmatched by all accounts as was that of all the other heroes who perished that day. I can tell you that having just visited the LLWS museum and seeing his number 11 in right field brought tears to my eyes. I am so glad that Little League has honored Michael in this manner so that his name will always be associated with the LLWS and bravery and heroism. God bless.

In memory of
Edna Cintron

I have been trying to contact you for about 15 years now. You and I were childhood friends, and you cared about me and my family as I did about you and yours. I remember our good times staying at your home. I just found out about your bravery, but I always knew that you were. I wish we could have talked again, but I know I will see you again. I love you and have always missed you. I wish I could have been there to save you.

In memory of
Kevin M. Cosgrove

I never truly felt the reality of 9-11 until now. I was only 12 when the WTC towers were struck. Now that I'm 21, I can more fully comprehend what happened that day. I can't imagine the fear you felt during those last few moments. God Bless you and your family, Mr.Cosgrove.

In memory of
John Ogonowski

John,

I never met you. You lived in the same town as me, about 3 streets over, actually. I'm young, and I never quite understood the feeling that I got from 9-11. I was only in 4th grade when it happened. Now, from reading, everything I read, it brings sorrow to me. And from this day forward, you will always be in my heart. May god bless you.

In memory of
Edward Calderon

Hey, bro—

Here we are again coming to the ninth anniversary of what I call the darkest day of our lives, the day evil was set loose upon the earth. Nothing has been the same since. Everywhere you look, every time you see the news, it’s death after death. As long as I am alive, I will always defend your name and those of the others who were murdered on that day. I miss you every day; you were my “partner in crime.” I hope your death was not in vain. I hope that those who mourn you support the cause for justice and liberty in action and not just in talk. Love you, bro. Miss you much. Watch over us. Keep us safe.

Your bro,
Vince

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
