In memory of
Steven Paul Chucknick

My Angel,

My heart is pounding harder as the 9th anniversary approaches. And yes, my thoughts go back to the summer of 2001 and all the beautiful times we shared. Every year I try not to do this, and every year I seem to, and it hurts more than the year before. Will I ever live again? I just watch as the days pass by and the years come and go, and I feel lost. I can't believe our little boy ... is not little anymore. He will be 22 years old this year. My mind is caught in confusion, and I let it get that way. I can't let go of you. I can't put you out of my mind, mostly because I don't want to. Now it's to the point where I make believe I am okay, but I'm not. It seems everyone has moved on, apart from me. You are holding my heart, and I believe you always will. I love you so very much and miss you all the more.

My heart to only yours forever,
Your wife, Barbara

In memory of
Michael Taddonio

Hey, Mike,

I know you are good. I don't really believe in these websites too much, but I thought I'd try. No one misses you more than I do. But you are great, and I have done everything you asked of me. I'll miss you forever, but I'll be right next to you soon enough.

xoxo

In memory of
Jonathan Eric Briley

What Is Dying?

I am standing on the sea shore.
A ship at my side spreads her
white sails in the morning breeze
and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and I
stand and watch her until at last
she fades on the horizon.
Then someone at my side says
“There, she has gone”-
Gone where?
Gone from my sight – that is all.
She is just as large in the mast,
hull and spars as she was
when she left my side…
The diminished size
and total loss of sight
is in me and not in her,
and just at the moment when
someone by my side says
“She is gone,”
Others take up the glad shout,
“There she comes.”

In memory of
Clinton Davis

My friend Maike and I were doing some research at school when we stumbled upon a photo of Clinton Davis. Seeing his photo made us feel very sad, and we would like to pay our respects.

In memory of
Patrick Sean Murphy

I met Patrick and was a close friend of his brother Tim in California in the mid-1980s. How unfair it is that this family has so suffered in this life. Bless the Murphy family. 6-12-2007

In memory of
Martin Michael Wortley

Martin,

You were a colleague and a really good friend to me always. I think about you and your dad Mike so often. I hope your family is okay, and I know how close you all were. I worked first with your dad, then I had the privilege of watching you grow up around foreign exchange, only to train you in money markets later. You were an angel on earth, so I am sure God needed you for some really special reason. I miss you, my friend.

In memory of
Paul Hanlon Keating

I never met, and I am sure I never will meet, anyone who has touched my heart the way Paulie did.... I think about you often, about what we had, what could've been ... and I am saddened that someone so perfect could be deprived of a life so deserving of the love and happiness that was waiting for you. I miss you, Paulie, and I am so sorry—so, so sorry.

In memory of
Ann Nicole Nelson

Every year, in honor of victims of 9/11, with a special thought for Ann, I honor the local police and fire departments in Mandan and Bismarck with food gifts as a thank you. As we approach another anniversary, my thoughts are with you, Gary, my long-term friend, and with Jenette. I will never forget.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
