I was thinking of you about a week ago, remembering back to the day my family moved from Kenya to Woodside, Queens. You can imagine it was quite a shock, but because of people like you, we were welcomed as part of the block (52nd street) and community. Your kindness and warmth will not be forgotten. I remember looking up to the older kids like you, Jimmy, Sabino, Dean, and the rest. Most of all, I will never forget the caring and gentle manner in which you treated my handicapped brother. I just wanted to thank you.
This day will be in my memory forever. I lived in Chicago when it happened. I will never forget. I just learnt about Sebastian. He will live on in our memories. In September 2001, I wrote on the internet: we will prevail. We will.
Patrick Thomas Dwyer wasn't just some random person to me. He was family. My cousin was an amazing father, brother, son, cousin, and uncle. I miss him so much. He will never be forgotten by my mom or his/our family. <3 and miss you. R.I.P., Patrick.
[Ed. - These days I've gone back to watching documentaries, looking at photographs, and reading articles about that great tragedy. Yesterday I even saw the film by Oliver Stone, and I don't know how to explain how I feel. I'm writing in Spanish from Madrid so that everyone knows that the world remembers, and we're sorry for what happened. The world needs to move toward peace; we're all brothers, and we need to live like it. A big hug and all my affection for and solidarity with the families of the victims of 9-11.]
God bless you, Beth! You're a special mom to be so strong, and I for one will always remember you in my prayers. Remember, it says in the Bible, "all meant to harm, God makes into good," which I'm sure you've wondered many times about over the years. However, God knows the final outcome of all of this, and someday we will know, too! Kevin would be proud of what a good job you're doing in raising the two little ones. You're a strong little lady! Take care and remember, we haven't forgotten any of you who have suffered from this great loss!

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
