In memory of
Robert Speisman

God bless you all. I was a student of Steve Speisman when I lived in Arizona and went to DMHS. I will never forget the people who died in the attacks on 9/11.

In memory of
Juliana Valentine McCourt

My niece was four years old on 9/11/01, the same age as Juliana when she died. There aren't words for the anguish at the senseless loss of Juliana. It's a cry of pain that only God can hear. I'll never forget you, Juliana. To those reading this, please go to the educational foundation page created in her honor.

Michael Benjamin Packer

I had the honor to work with Michael at Pearson, Old Tappan, NJ. He was open to talk to staff at all levels and very knowledgeable.

In memory of
Ingeborg Astrid Desiree Lariby

We went to college (Richmond College) together in London, UK early in the 1980s. She dated my roommate, Ardeshir Modanlou. She was the kindest, funniest, sweetest person I've ever met, but above all she was a great friend. I lost touch after graduation in 1983, when we all took different paths. I went back to my hometown of Bogota, Colombia and never heard from her again. But after all these years, I can still remember her smile, her friendship; she was always there to lend a hand. En estos dias no sale el sol sino tu rostro y en el silencio sordo del tiempo gritan tus ojos!

[Ed. - "These days the sun doesn't come out except in your countenance, and in the deaf silence of time your eyes cry out!"]

In memory of
Calvin J. Gooding

I knew Calvin from Springfield Gardens while growing up. Calvin was good friends with my best friend at the time, Raymond Smith. We both played on several teams together (basketball and football (Springfield Rifles) at Montibello Park). Raymond and I always hung out together, so I saw Calvin often. Calvin and I were friends also, but we didn't spend much time together outside of Montibello. I lived 3 blocks away from Montibello Park in Springfield Gardens so I saw Calvin often.

I found out that Calvin was a 9-11 victim many months after the tragedy, and I must say that I was deeply saddened. Knowing Calvin while growing up was a pleasure. Calvin had such positive energy every time that I saw him. After reading all the testimonials on Calvin, I know I couldn't expect anything different. All of those testimonials were on point. Calvin was such a fantastic human being. There not enough kind, positive words to describe him. I don't know Calvin's immediate family, but I cannot imagine the immediate family being anything but fantastic. Just like Calvin.

I would like to offer my blessings to the Gooding family and let you know how much I appreciate what a truly wonderful human being Calvin was. May God bless you.

In memory of
Lt. Vernon Allan Richard

I have never met Lt Richard, but from what I have read and seen, he was a very good man. I am doing a project in my U.S. history class, and I found his name, so I wanted to do my project about him. And I am very honored to do my project about him.

In memory of
Kevin M. Cosgrove

I will forever be haunted by hearing the final words of Mr Cosgrove.... As I listened, my blood curdled and my throat got swollen from stress.... Rest in peace.

This was the most horrifying thing I have ever seen and heard in my life, and I will never be the same again.

I am very sorry about what happened.... There is no words to say....

I listen to your last call every year on the eve of 9/11.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original 9-11 tribute song called "America Cried". In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
