In memory of
Bryan Jack

I worked with Bryan Jack about 13 years ago. He was a kind and gentle man. I was very saddened to hear of his death, and I think about him often.

We appreciate your service and sacrifice. You are a moral and noble example of Islam. May you shine in Jannah. You inspire every single American to be like you. Inshallah, may you rest in peace.

In memory of
Christopher Pickford

I just spent the weekend in NYC, and we went to the Brooklyn, Coney Island Sept 11th Memorial with Chris's mom. A lot has happened since Sept 11th: Chris's dad (my brother Tom) died in 2005. His brother David became a firefighter with FDNY, fell in love, married, and has a beautiful son, named Christopher Peter Pickford. We are all still trying to live our lives to the fullest, keeping in mind that Chris would have insisted on that. I can't say what brought me to this web page, but I feel a sense of pride and peace now.

Thank you all,
Aunt Susan

In memory of
Christopher Mozzillo

If there is a way to be in contact with Mr. Mozzillo's family, I would love to hear from them. I still wear his memorial pin and place flowers by his name at the Broomfield Colorado Memorial.

In memory of
Lt. Kevin Christopher Dowdell

I was just reading about the run across the US as a tribute to those who lost their lives and about the helmet signed by Fire Lieutenant Kevin Dowdell that is being carried by the Australian runners.... This led me to read more about Lt Dowdell and his family. That led me to this website. I felt I had to write something to show that people all around the world have not forgotten these fallen heroes.

In memory of
Carlton W. Bartels

I first met Carlton in person when I brought him to Sydney for the Australian Greenhouse Conference in 2000. Key government officials portrayed him as a jet-setting global leader on carbon trading, and yet he wore a tropical shirt, shorts, and sandals when we first met (we had invited him to a BBQ). We made his travel arrangements, so he could go scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef during his visit. There was a great deal of media interest in Carlton's discussions of how to make money by having cows burp less. I was lucky enough to catch up with Carlton again in August 2001 during a trip to New York to gain more insight from him on carbon trading. I'm honoured to have known Carlton, albeit briefly. He had a great love of life, his family, and his profession that inspired everyone who got to know him.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
