In memory of
Karen A. Martin

Goodbye for now, Karen.

Also, for Sue Powers: I don't know where you are. You have not called me in a long time. I hope things are OK with you. Your big sister was a hero to the whole country. I miss you, also.

In memory of
Jason Kyle Jacobs

I was just recently sent a 9/11 reminder. I saw Jason's name on a missing-person photo looking for a child's daddy. I was hoping that when I entered his name, nothing would come up to say that he wasn't found alive. My condolences to the family that has lost him, and I hope that every day someone new is reminded of the tragedy of September 11, 2001 when Jason's child lost a daddy.

In memory of
Charles Wilson Magee

I worked with Charlie at Manhattan Mall and at the 7-WTC. I have so many nice memories of him, and he will always be in my prayers. He was the best Chief Engineer I ever worked for.

I have so many stories about him, but the one that really stands out is when I found out about him flying back to NY from California with his new plane. I said to Charlie how smart and courageous he is, and he said "Eddie, you could do it, too, if you put your mind to it." That was typical of Charlie, always a good mentor and an inspiration to others.

Another story is that soon after he was promoted to Head of Operations at the WTC, I saw him in the Lobby at 7-WTC dressed in a suit with other important-looking people. I was trying to avoid him because I was afraid that I might say something stupid, but Charlie saw me and said with a smile, "Hey, Surf Dog, how are you doing?" That made me so happy that he hadn't changed, and I was so proud of Charlie.... Long live Charlie's memory!

In memory of
Kevin M. Cosgrove

We know that it was the most horrible day ever. I saw the video about Kevin, and it is so very sad to hear those screams. I hope all of the victims are resting in peace, and I hope that America recovers from that nightmare! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

In memory of
Robert Cordice

Brother,

It's almost 9 years later, and knowing that it was supposed to be me and not you tears a hole in my heart every day I'm alive. The guilt is overbearing. I wish I could apologize to your parents. I don't know what the right thing to do is. I am sorry, Robert. I didn't get to meet you, but I will never forget hearing your name for the first time in August of 2001. I wish it was me instead of you, brother. My heart will always be broken and filled with guilt.

In memory of
Keith Alexander Glascoe

I knew Keith way back in the '80s and '90s when we used to play basketball together at the High School in the upper 70's on the west side on Saturday mornings. He was a soft-spoken gentleman-athlete back then and remained that way throughout his life. We also worked out together at Better Bodies, and I knew back then that I was lucky to have him as a friend.

I would visit him at night at Tattoo where he worked, and when we'd get a chance, we'd talk sports and just the day's events. Keith's soft-spoken manner was contagious. His sense of humor was dry and respectful at the same time.

He became a wonderful husband and father and true hero!

We must never forget the sacrifices that Keith and all the other heroes made for us to this day. Coming up on 10 years happened in the blink of an eye. My thoughts are with his entire family.

In memory of
Robert Fangman

Hey Robert,

I live in Wilmington, and I was surprised to hear someone from a state as small as Delaware was killed in such a major attack. You really didn't deserve this. You were doing the one thing you loved. I think I might become a flight attendant myself someday, like you. You seem like such an awesome guy, and I wish I could've met you. I'll remember you.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
