In memory of
Anthony Hawkins

I just watched the movie, "Remember Me," and looked up this website to see if the name "Tyler Hawkins" was listed. He was not, but a young man, age 30, in his prime of life was. His name was Anthony Hawkins. I thank God that God created in us compassion for others, the resolve to overcome tragedies. I know that their deaths were not in vain, and they are remembered—otherwise, I would not be writing this.

Pray for the families and friends of these fallen heroes and for our country, to heal our wounds and strengthen our faith throughout our nation.

In memory of
Pablo Ortiz

Mr. Ortiz was a great man who died an unfair death. I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to the Ortiz family as we approach the anniversary of 9/11. Never forget great men like Mr. Ortiz. Never forget 9/11.

In memory of
Hyun-joon (Paul) Lee

Maybe it's because you're Korean that I feel closer to you.... Maybe it's because you're human that I can't bear the thought of an empty slate. Rest assured, dear soul, there is someone thinking of you down here.

In memory of
Lawrence Don Kim

It's sad to think that there are people who have no comments. Maybe your loved ones haven't found this site yet, but don't worry, I'll fill it up with my deepest thoughts for you. God bless your soul.

In memory of
Edward Thomas Earhart

Ed is very special to me, having served with him at the Lexington Reserve Center ... always smiling, that Ed. I met with him at the Chinese restaurant on Main Street prior to his departure for the Pentagon. I, too, was assigned on ADSW orders during that time in El Salvador. Each year I have Chief Selects know who he is and what he has done for our country. He is an American hero to me, and I am very honored to have met and served with him.

In memory of
Anthony Alvarado

Anthony was such a wonderful, humble kid. He was a childhood friend of Mark Acevedo and of my son Michael. We lived in the same building. My heart goes out to my friend Sonia. Such a beautiful friend. I know her pain. I, too, lost my son Mark in 1992. She was a wonderful mom. When you loose a child, part of your heart goes with them. And I'm sure that Mark and Anthony are angels and are hanging out in the lord’s paradise and looking down and watching over us. We’ll miss you forever, Anthony and Mark.

In memory of
Jennifer Mazzotta

I saw her name posted on a street sign and was curious to see who she is or was. I googled Ms. Mazzotta, and all I can say is that my heart goes out to her entire family.

In memory of
Robert Sutcliffe

I had the honor of working with Bobby, literally standing side by side in the cramped conditions at the NYSE for quite a few years. To this day, my fondest memories of working there were with Bobby and the HYY crew. Whether it was a few pops at the Luncheon club or eating hot wings from the Grotto while answering the constantly ringing phones during the day, Bobby was always the guy with a smile on his face.

I just wanted to say that I miss you and the good times we had. I'm glad to have had the time we shared in the trenches.

Vinny

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
