In memory of
Thomas Foley

I knew Tom back in the time when kids were innocent and a good time was a good fight on the neighbors' lawn just for a goof. I knew him through high school and a few experiences we shared. We socialized and would do our best at tackle football on the Prentice lawn in winter. Friends like Tom and John and Tim would often come. There was Roccabruno and Mike and Victor and Scanllon. Those were the times. Good times.

In memory of
Gary Bird

I just went to Youtube and watched the U-2 Superbowl concert and saw his name on the screen and decided to Google "Gary Bird and 911." Nice memorial site....

In memory of
Juliana Valentine McCourt

I want to say that I remember seeing Juliana's father being interviewed after some time had passed. He told a story about how Ruth and he had married at the Vatican. He had received a coin from the Vatican to commemorate their marriage, which Ruth had kept in her pocketbook. The recovery team found that coin, which he then had made into a pendant to wear close to his heart. I often pray that he has continued to show this incredible strength with all the loss he has suffered. When I hear about the possible construction of a mosque near this tragic site, I see Juliana and Ruth's smiling faces. I think of how a husband and father only has a coin to hold close because of this senseless terrorism. Although it is not much comfort, there are millions of people who love and miss these precious people.

In memory of
Norberto Hernandez

I felt it was necessary that I pay my respects to a man I didn't know only to know his story! It's hard to lose anyone in the world, but know that their life after is more beautiful than we all imagined ... and so I send my respects to Norberto and his family!

In memory of
Sarah Prothero Redheffer

Dear Sarah,

The lovely girl that came on her birthday to save me from the jilted blues—such as she was—so full of care for others. She waited with her friends whilst I applied makeup and clothes fitting for a birthday party—having lost my dear brother a few years previously, I was a needy case. At her birthday party, I met my future husband and our first born is named, of course, Sarah. Rest peacefully, lovely girl, as we will all meet again!

Your friend,
Alison xxxx

In memory of
Jonathan Eric Briley

You did not jump: you fell, and God caught you—at least the part of you that matters. You may have been robbed of your life, of your time on earth with your family, but your memory—not just a photograph, but the stories told with great love by your family and all who knew you—goes on. May your loved ones feel and know that you watch over them with love and wait for the day you will be happily reunited on the other side. Bless you, brave man, who went on your own terms as best you could. Bless you.  <3  Namaste.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
