After 9/11 I was a mental health counselor for the Red Cross. I am a clinical social worker and pastor. I recently went to the 9/11 museum and bought a bracelet with Stephanie's name, and I am going to wear it every day until the tenth anniversary and will have my church pray for her family every week. I would love to have some pictures if I can and to learn all about her. We here in West Elkton, OH will keep Stephanie's memory alive. I think this will be healing for me. There were so many families that I worked with, and I don't know if I worked with Stephanie's family, but I want her to represent my experience. Much love to Stephanie's family.

I believe that God has blessed you for all your hard work and suffering, and I know that all of your loved ones are very proud of you, and so am I. Your suffering is over, and when the judgment day comes, you will be in heaven.
In early October of 2001, my husband, assistant chief Jim Love, and I made a trip to NY from Omaha, Nebraska. We felt that we needed to help in whatever way we could. It changed our lives by what we saw. The devastation was unreal. We went to Rockaway for a memorial service, where we meet Rosemary Cain. She gave us a picture of her son that we still have to this day. She told us, "Now you know someone who was taken on 9/11." We will never forget that day. What a wonderful mother, who has touched so many lives. We will be at the ten-year anniversary. This year we will be at Notre Dame stadium on 9/11/10. We will be wearing a fire helmet with a shirt dedicated to George Cain. May he rest in peace. Never forget what this has done to our country. God bless you all.

You will not be forgotten, Jeff.... There are many people in the USA who will make sure of it.... I am proud to be part of Christie's efforts to turn her own and your children's tragedy into something positive to help others.... That is the legacy that you leave and that your family and friends carry on ... in memory of you.
You would've been 40 today, little sister. Oh, how I wish I could tease you the way you would've teased me for turning 40 before you. :D Everyone remembers and loves you as if you were still among us. Your kids are wonderful young people who will carry on your sweetness and your smart-ass sense of humor. Mom and dad are a little older, but that's something that's true for all of us. We miss you so much. We love you so much. It's still hard to accept that I'll never see you again.
I heard the 911 call, and I heard the whole 30 minutes....
She fell unconscious towards the end of the tape. You could hear her snoring. She passed away peacefully and that's great....
I don't know what I would have done in this situation, BUT I think I'd be on the phone with a family member or relative, not 911....
The ninth-year anniversary is quickly coming fast, and I feel as if people forgot all about 9/11, and it hurts me, from watching countless Youtube videos, seeing people hanging out of windows, jumping, and so on, it makes me horrified and sad when people forget all about this sad, sad day in America.
Melissa was a great American. She was strong, yet scared, like every one of us would be. It's great to hear that so many people heard the tapes and could connect with this young women and feel her pain....
REMEMBER MELISSA. REMEMBER 9/11 FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS, EVERYONE WHO DIED.
This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
