I am an Irish woman, and my heart goes out to all the victims of 9-11, to the bereaved families and the unnamed victims who are still suffering to this day. God bless all of you.
A kiss goodbye
Like every other day
It was beautiful and clear
Turning cold
But this day was a picture
No clouds up in the sky
Through the window I waved bye-bye
PRE-CHORUS:
Who could ever guess
The way our lives would change
As I went about my day
Sure of your return
Sure of everything
Then darkness filled the skies
It was the worst day of our lives
CHORUS:
I called you, I called you
No reply
I called you, I called you
A million letters filled the skies
MUSIC BREAK
Time moves slow
Every moment a lifetime
As I go about my days
All I do is wait
For something to change
For something to change
Can’t live with all this pain
PRE-CHORUS:
I’m living in a dream
Time is just the space I occupy
A place inside me always cries
For your sweet face
For your sweet face
Is that you up in the sky
Through the window I see you smile
CHORUS:
I call you, I call you
No reply
I call you, I call you
Clouds of memories fill my eyes
MUSIC BREAK
BRIDGE:
A million little things, fill my days
Time has come and gone, and I go on
Underneath this smile, I’m crying
Underneath this life, I’m dying
I call you, I call you
I call you, I call you
I call you, I call you
Millions of people pay the price
I call you, I call you
I call you, I call you
I call you, I call you

[Ed. - I'm Mexican. What happened on the 11th of September of 2001 hurts me a lot. I never knew Honor Elizabeth Wainio, but upon seeing the picture, "Flight 93," I was left very sad, and I was always crying for all those people, but especially for Elizabeth. I've taken up a lot of tenderness for her. My condolences to her family.
Yours,
Andrea Roxana Mendez Alvarado (12 years old)]

9/11 was despicable. We have watched TV programmes and films about this in my history lessons, as we are studying America at the moment, my friend and I get tears in our eyes every time. It's so sad.
I also went to New York last year and walked past the remains of the building and past the place where children wrote letters. It brought many tears to my eyes. R.I.P., everyone who lost their lives. No one will ever be forgotten.

NOTE: The visitor remarks and comments below are NOT NECESSARILY the feelings or beliefs of this website's webmaster or sponsors.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy in New York City. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. The sponsors of this site are paying all expenses, and are thereby keeping the site free from advertising that would take away from the solemnity of the purpose. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original 9-11 tribute song called "America Cried". In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
