I was only in 4th grade when this happened, but I remember it all too clearly. May all those who lost their lives on that tragic day rest in peace.

My boss was scheduled to leave for NY at 8:30 that morning and was getting ready to go to the airport.... I remember her coming up to me, asking me to find out what was happening at the airport....

Then later when we heard about the crashes into the Twin Towers and then the Pentagon ... I remember myself and all my co-workers looking out the window.... I worked in Quincy, MA on the top floor--we have a view of the Boston skyline--I remember all of us standing there in silence.... I now believe we were waiting to see if a plane was going to crash into Boston as well.... We were all in shock....

At the time, my nephew worked in NYC as a DEA Agent.... I had forgotten about that because he was only there for 4 months at that point, and when I realized it later, I remember panicking ... calling his sister.... He was still home in NJ getting ready for work ... which was right in the same area.

God bless all the families that had to survive that day after hearing that their loved ones were in the buildings ... and I am sure god is taking care of everyone who was in the buildings and at the other locations as well....

We wanted to post our sincerest sorrow for the loss of life on 9-11. KAR Records is putting together a music/video tribute for the heroes who lost their lives. It is going to charity for children who lost a mother or father, police officer or firefighter. If anyone here wants to share photos of their loved ones, family members, neighbors, etc., please email us at karrecords (at) hotmail (dot) com. You can visit our myspace site to hear the song we wrote, "A Hero" at http://www.myspace.com/karrecordsinc. It is truly powerful and inspiring as a writer to be a part of something more powerful than yourself. We owe our lives to the heroes who gave up theirs for our freedom. They deserve to be remembered and cherished always. Please consider being a part of this video with your memories or photos. I know it has been several years now, but their courage must never be forgotten. I wrote the song myself, and I feel grateful every day for what our heroes did for our country. There is so much hatred and anger in our world already--our children need to start seeing our love and compassion as a nation as well. Thanks for reading this and thank you for your time.

When 9/11 happened, I was only in middle school. As time has gone by, the thoughts of that day affect me more and more. While I am happy and live life to the fullest, I refuse to forget it. Every week I take time to think of the bravery of our troops and the pride that I take in my country. It has forever placed inside me a burning desire to respect and love my country. My heart literally bleeds for the families of our troops, our police, the firemen. So many times I have had warm tears cut down my face like blades, not because I am sad, but instead it's the result of extreme pride in my country and its bold ideals. That is enough to move even a tough guy such as myself to cry. My only regret is that I wish I could have been older so that I could have done more. 9/11 taught me one lesson. I have too much to take even the smallest thing for granted. The next time my country is hurting and needs help from its people, I will be there.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy in New York City. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. The sponsors of this site are paying all expenses, and are thereby keeping the site free from advertising that would take away from the solemnity of the purpose. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
