We, individually as human beings and collectively as Americans, bear the responsibility to NEVER, ever forget what happened on 9/11/01. Nor must we permit the passage of time to allow the souls here commemorated to perish from our memories. May God bless and keep them. May God help us to prevent anything like this from happening again.

9-11-01 was a horrible day.
Most cried and had not a word to say.
Not one but two planes were devoured,
Not in the ocean, nor the ground, but in the twin towers.
As the twin towers fell quickly to the ground,
All the loved ones inside may never be found.
Many thought hard, "Should we give our lives instead of others?"
Flight 93 smashed into the ground. Smoke covers all.
Thousands of innocent people lost their lives.
Now aircrafts and people we despise,
Many hearts broken many tears cried.
We miss and love, but we also look up to all those who died.

I was working the night shift of Sept 10/11, 2001, in Vancouver, BC. I had just gone home to bed when it happened. I was just stunned when I awoke later and turned on the radio to hear the words that the tower has just collapsed. I could not believe it! What I didn't know at that minute was the brother of a friend of mine was on the second plane to hit the towers. Another friend of mine was at the Pentagon when that plane hit. I can still see the shock those friends had to endure. Even to this day they are still enduring it. It took Teresa years to even speak about what happened in Washington, and today she still can't look at any media stories about the Pentagon attack. My other friends' pain is even harder to write about. But, however, one thing they and I share is gratitude for the efforts of the people, especially emergency personnel, of New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania. To this day I am extremely grateful for the efforts of the fire, police, and ambulance people. You gave it your all to try to save the people in the towers, in the Pentagon, and on the planes. For that I thank you.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy in New York City. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. The sponsors of this site are paying all expenses, and are thereby keeping the site free from advertising that would take away from the solemnity of the purpose. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original 9-11 tribute song called "America Cried". In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
