I think of all the selfless acts of bravery, courage, and sacrifice given by those both living and those who were taken away from us that dreadful day. All unsung heros. Let their sacrifice be not forgotten. I will always remember.

Although we never witnessed such tragedy, we know the pain that America went through. The innocent victims will remain in our hearts and won't only be remembered on 9/11 but everyday of our lives. To the families who lost their loved ones, you're all in our prayers.

i think that this is a very sad time in everyone's life. I know that we need to remember the people that died that day. Can't we just let the people rest in peace in heaven cause now there in a better place than they have ever been in. I did not want this day to came. My dad was on one of the planes, and I try so hard to forget it. Sometimes I just pray that he would be home to stay. I will get to see him when I go to heaven. There's times I wish that they took me instead of him. I feel like it's my fault he got onto that plane. Well, I just wanted to share that with whoever was willing to hear my story.

Liberty Street, NYC
I never saw it comin’, it knocked me off my feet
I couldn’t catch my breath again, Down on Liberty Street.
I dove into a doorway, got buried in the dust
Forgot what I was doin’ there, and crawled beneath a bus.
Something happened to the towers, they came crashing to the ground
While all the world was watching, I heard the deafening sound.
Each breath I took was searing, I couldn’t feel my feet
I remembered, I came for coffee, Down on Liberty Street.
On a blue September morning, at the beginning of the day
I got my cup of coffee, and turned to walk away.
I saw a flash before my eyes, I felt a rush of heat
It wasn’t a bus but a fire truck, I was under on Liberty Street.
I was pulled from my safe harbor, by unseen hands of steel
And shuffled down an alley, to decide if this was real.
I turned and a saw the firemen gathering to meet
Then watched them as they headed Up on Liberty Street.
