On this day my mind returns to the site of the World Trade Center and all the victims who perished there. I want to extend my condolences to all the remaining families of all the victims of the WTC.  You are in my heart, thoughts, and prayers as you continue to heal.  Never forget God is watching over you, and so are your loved ones. They’re never far away. God bless all of you.

5 years now, so hard to think its been that long. I keep thinking it was yesterday honestly. As an EMT I know the feeling of loss, and this was the worst loss. My father is a firefighter, and he is my hero. So are all the emergancy workers from Nyc who lost their lives, saving others, the ones who made it, and the ones who are goin strong still! GOD BLESS YOU! To those who lost everything 9-11-01 you are remembered, you are missed and you will be in everyones hearts as well. God bless

I had just drove the kids to school when the first news came on the radio. I rushed home and for the next 3 days did not leave the t.v. This made for T.V. movie just kept playing over and over. Even 5 years later, the shock and tears reamain for our friends and neighbors in the USA. All Canadians shed tears for you, and offer our hand and our prayers.

I woke up just before the second airliner hit - I live in Oklahoma but was born and raised in New Jersey. My Mom called me and told me to watch the news. Like all of us, I was stunned by what I saw. I went to work that morning. I was a call center representative for American Airlines Vacations. The phones that morning were silent as the country tried to understand what was happening to the US. My co-workers, many in tears watched our terminals closely for reports from our airline anticipating we'd receive many calls from AA passengers. We got conflicting reports about what flights between AA and UA were involved and were asked to refer all calls from family members and media to a special number set up at AA headquarters. However that day - September 11, 2001 - we received so few calls. We all watched a TV near our desks and held one another. The public sometimes view call center workers as unfeeling, uncaring people... we ARE not. We do our jobs as best we can and in that time of crisis I was never more proud of the job we did that day. The few calls that did come in were from people that just wanted to talk about what happened. The callers were in tears too. One woman called to cancel a trip that her fiance had planned many months ago. The agent that took the call remembered the name that was on a Honeymoon reservation. She had set up the reservation for the couple and now it was the woman that was calling to cancel a trip that was to have been a surprise for her. Her husband had told her about the trip just days before they were to marry. The woman's fiance was a New York Firefighter that lost his life that morning at the World Trade Center. Tears rolled down the agent's eyes as she did her best to console the woman that had just lost the single most important person in her life. I took one call from a woman that I spoke to for 1 hour. We were both consoling one another and she prayed for the victims on the AA flights and prayed for me and my family. Her prayers must have been answered because my cousin's husband Tom, got stuck in traffic on Route 17 in Jersey on his way to Nynex at the WTC and never made it into work.. An office that my friend Amanda worked for in NYC was moved from the WTC just 2 weeks before the attacks. My cousin was ill that day and didn't go into work. She too worked at the WTC. I did lose several friends and everyone I know in Jersey City lost someone on that terrible day. I was one of the first passengers to fly the day flight ban was lifted... I was one of 6 passengers aboard an AA flight to New York and yes, I did pay for the ticket... to stand up against those that did this to our country. It was a sad flight seeing Manhattan Island without the Twin Towers and then feeling the pain of loss all over again realizing that where those towers stood, thousands of people lost their lives. I no longer work for a call center nor do I work with the airlines but I do still fly. To those that did this to the US, whoever and wherever you are... I pray that you are half as strong as those that gave their lives on September 11th, 2001 - You will need to be. Americans don't back down.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy in New York City. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. The sponsors of this site are paying all expenses, and are thereby keeping the site free from advertising that would take away from the solemnity of the purpose. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
