"In our sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart. Until, in our own despair, against our will comes wisdom, through the awful grace of God" (That a quote from Aeschylus)
Lessons must be learnt, and in time we will begin to heal.
God bless you Vincent, and all those who died.

A Firemanís Pride

Twas the night before Christmas, 2001
She sat in the silence and thought of her son
Her memories were drifting to happier years
As she thumbed through her photos and dabbed off her tears
A picture of him on his first Christmas morní
Just six months after the day he was born
The pages were turned to that big football game
Her son was the hero, they all cheered his name
And, oh, thereís the one of the first girl he dated
And the one in his robe when he graduated
She squeezed her eyes closed, the pain was too much
She longed for a hug or just one more touch
Her fingers trailed slowly to the last few pages
That picture last August, God it seems now like ages
Heís standing so proudly with his kids and his wife
Just one month before the last day of his life
How striking his uniform looked on that day
The one that he wore when he went away
Grief shadows her pride now, on this Christmas Eve
The fact that heís gone is too hard to believe
Her Fireman son and so many more
Rushed into the Tower, and through Heavenís door
That September day when her son closed his eyes
That September day that we all so despise
And now she clings tightly to all that remains
An album of pictures which dawns her tear stains
Her one comfort, though, is he went side by side
With his comrades to Heaven, with Firemanís pride.

when i 1st heard the dj sammy remix i didnt really no what to think  of it but then i played it again and other than making me cry it also made me think that not only is it a waste of lives and a waste of time but there is no point in it and whoever does it is worse then satan himself. who would do such a thing.

i didnt no anybody in the attacks but many was affected by it and at the time i was only 10 years old it has to be the worse memory of my life because even though i live in england it affected me just as much as americans.

the 9/11 attacks was a terrible thing to happen and america didnt deserve it. so what maybe america is a rich country and afganistan isnt and maybe just because they have a leader who cares more about himself then his country is no reason to take it out on the america.

if you listen to the song then you will understand that more people were affected by it then they hoped. because of this experience it affected not only american lives but pretty much the whole world. i dont think that one person wouldnt be crying if they saw the pictures and the film of that awful day.

it will go down in history books and will be the biggest tradgy recorded ever but i feel sorry for the americans for a such a great loss. they seem to think that they are somehow carrying on with there lives but there is a little bit of 9/11 in everybody.

God bless!

xxxxx

" I AM "

I am funny and energetic
I wonder what the world would be like if 9/11 never happened
I hear patriotic music in the backround
I see me as a pro skater
I want to be as good as Rodney Mullen
I am funny and energetic

I imagine being a pro skater
I feel sad for the people that died in 9/11
I touch kids who want to laugh
I worry about what we will do about the 9/11 attack
I cry for the people that died in 9/11
I am funny and energetic

I understand what it means to be united
I say funny things
I dream of being a very good skater
I try to be an A+ student
I hope to be succsessful and smart
I am funny and energetic

FREEDOM

She sits up high from our ground --
She Ďs our biggest icons in skies around.
With thirteen stripes of red and white --
And fifty stars on blue thatís bright.

She waves in the wind gracefully and proud --
She speaks for herself bravely out loud.
Every American with emblem in hand --
We stand proud as weíll defend our land.

She has tears and stories to tell --
All about battles and scenes from hell.
All of our soldiers, some in graves --
Would live it all over, fighting for freedom of their day.

Because of freedom many have died --
Race or religion
Who knows all we can do is grieve and cry.
You got our attention and we turned around --
Get ready to fight --
For you have made another battle ground.

With right hand over hearts, we stand proud and tall --
To fight, defend our freedom, our liberty --
And GOD knows Justice For All .

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy in New York City. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. The sponsors of this site are paying all expenses, and are thereby keeping the site free from advertising that would take away from the solemnity of the purpose. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
