Storm of the Century.
A winter storm can effect all of us, seems like time shuts down paralyzing everything around.
  New Yorkers experienced their winter storm, Sept.11,2001
The Storm of the Century! the most heinous of all.
  Shock waves were felt in every Nation regardless of how big or small.
What took the evil mind months or years to plan, destroyed so much in minutes, taking lives and changing lives for ever a man.
  What was thought to be just another day; a loud boom was heard for miles away.
  Suddenlly the room became like the inferno of Hell, where it came from no one could tell.
  People falling through open space, people running, shock and confusion seen on their face.
  We watched in horror as the Towers crumbled before our eyes, the rolling thick black smoked as it filled the blue skies.
  A deep saddness was felt all over the land, touching the heart and Soul of every man.
  Tears flow even through the night, feeling utterly helplessness as you
remember the sight.
  Broken and bruised open for the world to see; Oh! New York! New York! how could this be?
  True New Yorkers will never be the same, for their lives have been touched and for ever changed.
      In memory of the victims of 9/11  We will never forget.

HERE WE ARE...

We were shattered and confused;
We were broken and in tears…
Now we’re shining, so much stronger;
We have risen above the fears!

We were frightened and alone;
We had suffered such a loss…
Now we’re standing, altogether,
In the shelter of the cross!

We were searching, we were calling,
We were praying through it all…
Though we’re striving, we are thriving,
With such strength to stand up tall!

We were listening for the voices;
We were asking why they died…
Now we’re speaking words of comfort,
Because we know God also cried!

We were broken and disheartened;
We were left in awe that day…
Now reflecting, looking forward;
With solemn words, our hearts will pray!

This is a poem I wrote the day after 911

A Tribute to America (after 911)

It was an ordinary day
Like all the rest
Laundry to do
Calls to address

Buses to catch
Hair to be combed
Who would have known
Many would never make it home

The day started out so nice
The sky was clear and blue
The air was crisp
Fall was brand new

Then all of a sudden
The unbelievable came to life
It was much more horrifying
Than a thief in the night

All hell was breaking loose
Before our very eyes
These people from Hell
were taking over the planes in disguise

Death was in the air
and on the ground
All of America watched in shock
As the terror reigned down

In just mere minutes
lives were changed forever
The sad thing is that most Americans
thought "this would never"

As the day unfolded
We all watched in disbelief
and cried at the loss of lives
all the people we would never meet

The mothers and fathers
The daughters and sons
The neighbors, the best friends
The old and the young

Life as we knew it
would never be the same
the security we felt on September 10th
was all in vain

It brought America together
Like never before
People began to give more blood
and love each other more

The red, white and blue
was under terrorist attack
But would rise above the fear and fury
her heart still intact

We were down but not out
the hurt touched us all
But the lady in the harbor
Still stood do proud and so tall

We lost so much
on that September day
But we also gained a pride and togetherness
that is here to stay

We will never forget
We will always remember
The day that changed America
That day in September

We will always be proud to live
In a land where we are free
The home of the brave
We will aloways be!

I recall National landmarks of Pride that once stood tall,
Side by side they towered above all,
Like a brother and sister they were just always there,
Whilst the people inside kept the world economically fair,
Then on September Eleven brother and sister were parted,
Shot in their hearts by bullets of Bin Laden,
Rarely has history been so inhumane causing worldwide suffering and unending pain,
Terroism claimed a notorious victory that day but forgot about the Spirit and the Strength of the USA.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy in New York City. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. The sponsors of this site are paying all expenses, and are thereby keeping the site free from advertising that would take away from the solemnity of the purpose. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
