The terror came from the sky.
Literally thousands would die -
Simple souls like you and me,
Who, unlike the terrorists
Yearn to be free.
Free of dogma, free of hate,
Free to worship and free to love.
Thatís what makes this country great.
Letís never forget the terror from above.

You all will always be in my thoughts. Any time 911 is mentioned, I say a quiet prayer to our Lord and ask Him to comfort you. I lost a son many years ago, and the day of his death has always been a sad one. So I know how all of you are feeling on 9/11. As the years go by, it gets a little easier, but you will never forget. America will never forget 911. God bless and keep you in his warmth.

Sunny and pristine, was the sky that day,
Empty of any fear or ill will, innocence
reflected the sunís rays.
People of all races and religions, went
about their daily lives,
Together living the American Dream,
children, husbands, wives.
Evil also existed that day, hidden behind
a cowardís hood,
Marking its stamp on history, by
destroying all that was good.
But with all their plots of destruction,
the demonsí forgot one thing;
Even though they bloodied our nation,
freedom would continue to ring.
Resolve would be put in motion,
immediate and absolute,
Every inch of the face of the earth,
would be searched to seize the
Low and high, in and out, they ran
but could not hide,
Every Americanís sense of JUSTICE,
would not be denied.
Vengeance, some would call it, but
itís so much more than that,
Eternally we will mourn the void,
of where our towers so regally
No matter the fate of those responsible,
our innocent and brave heroes suffered
Today will forever be remembered, as the
day when all of America cried.
History will tell of our tragedy, of the
sorrow, sadness and pain, but it should
also state that as Americans, we refused
to allow our fallen die in vain.
