I can't believe anybody could do this to innocent people. I will never forget the hundreds of people who died on that dreadful day. I will never forget the heroic firefighters who risked and lost their lives to save others. I will never forget September 9th, 2001....

I like the way you set up this site. My cousin was killed in the twin towers on 9-11-2001. I also was there when this happened, and it was very tragic. I have issues of not wanting to be alone by myself and want someone with me. I just want to say, god bless you all.

On 9/11, after hours of not knowing my father's whereabouts, I learned that he had heroically led his office to safety. He worked on 120 Broadway, and I will never forget seeing him come home, covered in ash, heartbroken over losing so many dear friends and colleagues in the towers.
I was so grateful that my father was spared. However, this past August, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors told him this kind of lung cancer was not caused by smoking, and undoubtedly, it was from 9/11. He lasted only a month after diagnosis.
It is important to remember that 9/11 was not an isolated day in history, and that its affects continue to claim heroes.
I implore you, if you were in 9/11, please get your lungs checked on a regular basis. And please continue to honor the memory of my father, Thomas Kennedy, as well as the memories of our country's other heroes who perished in or from 9/11.

There were many people we lost on that day, and it's very, very sad. But those people will always stay in our hearts. From now on they will be happy, and we have to remember not to feel sorry but to be happy that they now are in a perfect place, and they're waiting to see us again....
