I will never, ever forget 9/11. It changed everyones' lives! Everyone lost a part of themselves that day, and if they didn't, then they DON'T have feelings at all.

Seven Years Ago Today
Seven years ago today
A lot of our countrymen passed away.
Some died a hero, but all died a victim,
And we must never, ever forget them.
So many are still trying to make their way
After the horrendous things they witnessed that day.
It was over in minutes, but the effects will last forever
While many live without a sister, a brother, or maybe even a mother.
On that day the whole world cried,
For in their hearts they couldn’t conceive.
They said we were safe, but, oh, how they lied
On that day our eyes were opened wide:
Many looking for comfort to get through the night,
Not knowing if their loved ones were going to be alright.
Though they thought to destroy us by hitting us at the core,
It brought us all together like never before.
They hate that we are living free.
They don’t believe that’s the way it should be.
They think we should bow down to them,
But we only bow down to Him.
They thought they would break us and we’d fall apart,
But what they didn’t count on is “we got heart.”
We don’t back down when it comes to a fight.
We fight back with all of our might.
Our forefathers left us with a valuable gift,
And I’ll be damned if we’ll let them take it.
Freedom is worth any price we could pay,
And we’ll make them regret what they did on that day.
Our father in heaven has seen our despair,
And those who are against us better take care,
For the seed that they sowed will find it’s way home.
They can’t hide from God, no matter where they roam.
For every bad thing, something good comes from it.
That we would grow stronger they just didn’t get.
We all rallied together to help those left behind,
And prayed to God that more people they’d find.
With it all over and the final body count in,
We made up our minds it was time to begin
To love our neighbors as a friend,
To reach out to others and help them mend.
They may have hurt us deeply that day,
But they will never ever get their way
Because we’ll never give up, or lay down and die,
And vengeance will be ours with an eye for an eye.

I think that was great. It was so sad, but I loved it. I am 13 years old, and I have to write a paper about it, and I will put this in it, too.

We will never forget the sacrifices made by the heroes on that day. Another year has come and gone. To you it probably seems like yesterday. Thank-you for your bravery and the bravery of all those lost. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We will never forget. God bless.

To those who died in the air, in New York, at the Pentagon, as part of the heroic United 93, and to those brave souls who sacrificed their lives to help save others, we pray for you and our hearts go out to you each year. May we never forget. God bless the USA from your British cousins. May peace fill our hearts.

NOTE: The visitor remarks and comments below are NOT NECESSARILY the feelings or beliefs of this website's webmaster or sponsors.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy in New York City. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. The sponsors of this site are paying all expenses, and are thereby keeping the site free from advertising that would take away from the solemnity of the purpose. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE! Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original 9-11 tribute song called "America Cried". In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
