I found this site by chance. I find the comments incredibly moving, and I am so touched by them. Much love to you all, and especially to all the people who've gone through the grief of losing someone that day and continue to go through grief every other day because innocent lives were snuffed out so cruelly. Peace. x

Here's to the firefighters who answer the call
And are sometimes required to give their all.
With spouses and children left behind,
Let us never forget their valiant kind
Who, from that horrible fate, they tried to save others.
We will praise them and mourn them, our courageous brothers.
God bless them and keep them in that great firehouse in the sky.

Today is the first time I have been on the net, so I could not wait to get on here to pass on my best wishes and hope to all the rescue teams past and present in New York, and tell you that I will never forget that day as long as I live because you deserve all the praise you get. Unlike the workers that day, who could have got out, you boys had to go in. So keep your chins up, boys and girls, because all over the civilized world, we will never forget you—and so we shouldn't.
