Amo and Family,
It is important for you as his wife, son, and daughter to know how this man was respected by his associates. He mentored my nephew, who was new to the job, and his grace and kindness were always evident. May his grace and kindness continue to flow from each of you.
A Friend.

Dad,
I miss you and love you. Not a day goes by without me thinking about you, dad. Please come back! Dad, your little princess finally turned 16! I wish that you were here to see how big Andy and I are. But I know you're looking down on us. I can't believe that it's been almost 9 years that I haven't seen you. Dad, you're truly missed. Don't worry about mom, either. Andy and I are taking good care of her. Love you so much, daddy!

Hey Uncle Amo,
Life has been so different after you left. But you'll always be in my heart. I miss you so much, and I know that the angels above are looking after you. <3

The years have gone by so quickly! I cannot believe that we've lived eight years of our lives without you, but there is not a day that goes by without uttering your name. I think this is one of the many way to keep you alive in our hearts. Your little princess, Steph, is now 13 and your big boy is now 21. Life has not been the same without you, but the angels above have been giving us the strength and courage to go on. Keep on shining the light upon us, and may god keep your soul in him.
Love you always,
Your wife,
Kamee

Hey dad,
It's crazy how fast time flies by. I'm already in my 3rd year in college, Steff's gotten so big, and mom's been such a strong person through the years. As a family, it's been very hard for all three of us. Mom doesn't have a companion to confide in, Steff doesn't have a father figure to spoil her in the way a father would spoil his daughter, and I don't have someone to teach me how to be a father figure and to show me the way of life. Everyone from family to friends and co-workers have told me, "Andy, you're the man of the house now." It's indeed a hard task to accomplish. I wish you were here to show me how to do these things. Being a brother, a son, and a father is the biggest and one of the hardest responsibilities a man can ever have. I knew, if you were still here, I would definitely take your advice.
Every night I say a prayer for you. Sometimes I even pray to you. I don't only think of you as my father, but as my god, my savior, and my guardian angel. Please, if you can, please look over all of us: mom, Steff, the family, our close friends, and encounters.
And every day that passes is a day that gets closer to seeing you again.
Love, your son,
Andrew Lachhman

On Sept.11,2001 I lost an uncle. He was one of the sweetest, gentlest person in the world. He is a strong part of our family. Memories of him always brings happiness to us all. We take comfort in knowing that his life is now safe in god's hands. We love and miss you and we will be with you again.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
