I came to know Angie after her death. I can only say God took what man meant for evil and made it good. I have heard and read all the wonderful and amazing things Angie contributed during her life. I met her mother through this tragedy, and our lives came together. Now, I am blessed with a strong, compassionate, loving friend.
Angie, you are still loved and missed. We honor you today. I know you stand with our Lord Jesus and smile with joy and have Peace.

thank you for all the hilarious memories. We sure had a ball during NMITC and in the years after while stationed in DC.
I miss you.

Angie, I did not know you, but heard your name mentioned on a Fox News documentary today. I have read about your life and I have come here to say "Thank you" for your sacrifice and thank you to your parents and family who brought you up to serve God and Country. God Bless your sacrifice and the memory of your name...

Anytime 9/11 is brought up the first person who pops is Angela. She is a very special friend who will never be forgotten. I have very fond memories of spending time with her at CCD, pool parties and retreats and her parents being out youth group leaders. Angela had such a strong faith at those years when many kids turn there back to God.  She was and still is someone I am blessed to say was my friend.

I remember your smile, your energy, your comradry, your attention to detail and your devotion to duty. Angie and all the others that worked for ONI and were killed at the Pentagon will all be missed. Each was young and full of so much future potential--but now is lost. Angie, we will never forget you. You have encouraged others to survive and continue on with your purpose. I still believe you are all together and you will all remain in our hearts forever!

Angie, 9/11/2011
Ten lonely years have come and gone, they have swiftly passed us by
Time has not made it easier, nor answered some cries of “Why?”
Still, there is a reason she was born; Angela touched us all
She gave her all for freedom, and costly was her fall.
But is this not the way she lived, in joyful sacrifice?
She freely gave herself away and gladly paid the price.
I know for sure the loss is ours, much more than it is hers
There was purpose in her life, her death; this thought great hope confers.
Precious sister, precious soul, you are at rest, this much I know
You are eternally immersed in love, for you reap just what you sow.

CDR Morris Passmore. I worked at the Pentagon with Angie. I was blessed to know such a brilliant analyst and sincere Christian.

Nine years.... It's unbelievable that so much time has passed ... yet Angie's touch is still felt through the kindness of people who pray for her and for our family, by those who remember her through messages on this website, and by all who continue to work for peace and freedom. Thank you sincerely.

Angie, it has been 9 years and your kind and generous spirit still lives on with all of us and always will. I was blessed to have known you and will never forget how your beautiful smile lit up the room! God Bless you and your family.

I remember you this day (11 Sept. 2010) and how much I enjoyed working with you at the Pentagon. You were one of the nicest people I have worked with in my career. I can only hope you, like my parents, are in a much better place. There but for the grace of God go I...

Eight years have passed and I can still hear her laughter, see her smile. What a wonderful young lady. We miss her. Heaven is a sweeter prospect knowing she is there to meet me. Peace and blessings to all who knew her and God's comfort to her family.

Angie you are missed greatly by all who knew you. I am a military veteran and can see just how much you meant to the Pentagon and all of those that you supported. So many people hold you in such high regard. You are an inspiration to those who have been left behind. May God bless you and your family. You are sorely missed.

Today I honor 9-11 by remembering Angie ... remembering who she was and how she touched my life. It brings a smile to my face to see that she continues to touch the lives of complete strangers through her memorial fund—so very fitting for Angie. I feel so old remembering how young we were on 9-10-01, and even more thankful for all the gifts I have been given since. I miss you, Angie.

Angie, you'll always be in my thoughts. I remember the day you checked into ONI such a wonderful smile and full of life and dream. In you short life you gave so much. You were there to help the kids and to help the Thanksgiving drive for those in need. You never had a bad word to say about anyone. My prayers to your family

Remembering the bright, cheerful, inspirational woman I met while studying abroad during college. Missing you Angie and admiring everything you stood and continue to stand for!

Angie, I think of you especially as we approach this day. I worked across from you at the NMJIC and was always amazed at your ability to smile and seem full of energy - even on long mid-shifts. You were missed when you took the job on the Navy side and you're missed even more now.

As we approach September 11th, 2009, we will never forget this day eight years ago. After departing ONI in Aug 2003, I made a commitment to do whatever is possible to ensure we continue to have a peaceful and joyous place to raise our children and grandchildren. That day taught us a lesson we will never forget. As I look to the future, I see the bright, shiny outline of that day to come for peace for all mankind. Let us not forget those people who are making this happen, day in and day out, in protecting our homeland and those innocent lives around the world. Our prayers and thoughts are with Angie's family and all the families and friends of those that perished on September 11th, 2001.

Angela was a blessing to so many people. I loved the way she smiled and her laughter was contagious. Her faith in God was evident in her life, and I was crushed to hear she was taken from this earth. "We grieve, but not as those who have no hope."

Angie, I will see you again, soon—all in God's timing. We shared much when we worked the long night shifts together at the Pentagon.

Peace and blessings to her family and to all who knew her.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
