!0 years later. I was still feeling discomfort with our Muslim brothers, and brothers we are our God is your God as well as the God of Abraham. You know Abraham as the father of Israel. Yet the mideast spring still directs their discomfort towards their Jewish brothers. I hope you can forgive what you perceived slights we christians (though not all christians, Not any of us were alive during the Crusades. and non of those were from North America. That was a European thing.) Yet there are no Crusade era europeans left alive. Christ, you know him as a prophet in the Quran, Forgive your brother not seven but seventy times.

I to am one of the many people that saw the movie "Remember Me". I just saw it and I wanted to know if Tyler Hawkins was a person that actually died at the World Trade Center and in looking for that name I found Anthony Hawkins. I am only 13 years of age but for me this made me realize how thankful we are to be able to enjoy everyones life they share with us until the very end! God Bless you Anthony Hawkins and god bless all the other men and women who lost their lives on this tragic day.

I too, like others, watched the movie "Remember Me" and wanted to know if it was based on a true story. It was such a lovely, but true storyline, that so many families face today. My prayers will continue to go out to the families of the victims that lost lives on September 11, 2001.

I think its perfectly normal to be touched by a movie and to wonder: Was this a person and a person's life that the movies have recreated? It's a very sad thing that has happened to America ... and to all her children.... Peace be to the people who are not with us anymore, and God bless the families that this tragic event in our time has touched....

I also feel bad that it seems like I only looked this up to see if Tyler Hawkins was real and died in 9/11, but even so it helped me remember that day and it was sad because so many good people died that day. My grandpa was a lucky one, he was leaving the Pentagon as it was hit. I come from a military family and this hits hard. I plan on joining the air force and more people should. We are going through a hard time so more people should enlist. God only knows when we'll need them. God bless all the families devastated by 9/11 and my prayers go out to you all and the ones who died.

I watched "Remember Me" not long ago, and by the end of the film I wondered who Tyler Hawkins was, so I tried to search for the name, and, like the others, I found Anthony Hawkins instead of Tyler Hawkins.
I am Turkish and a Muslim, and I AM VERY, VERY SORRY FOR WHAT HAPPENED. May not only Antony Hawkins, but also the other victims, be blessed by God, Allah.

It almost feels wrong to say that I came across your page looking for someone from a movie. We should come here to remember YOU, not stumble upon you by accident, if that even makes sense. Maybe its a good thing you share the last name of the boy from "Remember Me." I don't know you, but tonight I cried for you and the ones you left behind. May you rest in paradise.

I am a Muslim American. I watched "Remember Me" and also looked for Tyler Hawkins, finding Anthony instead. September 11, 2001 is utterly indescribable, killing thousands of people, creating a hateful, stereotypical negativity toward Muslims. I know and understand how the pain is unbearable. The end of "Remember Me" causes tears to flow and hatred to build. I'm just reminding the hating hearts that terrorism has no religion. May God grant peace and wellness to the families of September 11, and relieve all the broken hearts as well as stereotypical opinions and actions. Peace.

I feel heartbroken for the people who lost a loved one on 9/11 but know the emptiness of losing someone so young. I find it hard to explain to my grandson why his daddy, who died two years ago, isn't coming back, so can imagine how hard it's been for the people left behind with just memories to hold on to. x

I, too, have watched "Remember Me," and I, too, looked for Tyler's name, but I found Anthony's instead.
Eternal rest grant unto Anthony, O Lord,
And Let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
Amen.

I also just watched the movie "Remember Me". I came to see if Tyler Hawkins was real and was moved to pray for the victims when I came across Anthony's name here. I am sure he was no relation, but the movie caused me to so vividly remember back to that day. I can look back now and see so much good that has come from so much evil. What the enemy intends for our harm, God will turn around for our good. God bless the victorious survivors of 9/11. Also, to those who lost their lives on that day and the events to come, may you always be remembered. Thanks to Summit Entertainment for such an awesome movie to helps us all REMEMBER!

I just watched the movie, "Remember Me," and looked up this website to see if the name "Tyler Hawkins" was listed. He was not, but a young man, age 30, in his prime of life was. His name was Anthony Hawkins. I thank God that God created in us compassion for others, the resolve to overcome tragedies. I know that their deaths were not in vain, and they are remembered—otherwise, I would not be writing this.
Pray for the families and friends of these fallen heroes and for our country, to heal our wounds and strengthen our faith throughout our nation.

I had just started a new job when I heard from my daughter that she was joining the service. I wasn't upset because I knew that there was no war and thus no chance of losing her. She'd just left for basic training when we heard the news on the radio, at work, about the Twin Towers. I can't describe how I felt at that moment: All those people killed, and the thought that my daughter would be going to war. I stood still, not able to move from the numbness inside. All I could do was pray, pray for the people in the towers, the people on the planes, the families waiting to hear about their loved ones—and pray that somehow my daughter would not go to war. My prayers were answered for her; she never had to go overseas, and she is now out of the service. I was lucky, but I know that, for the rest of you, your lives were turned upside down, and for this I am so sorry. I know we will never get over that time in our lives, and we will never forget those who died. I am truly so sorry for your loss. We all have loved, and we all have lost, but we go on, and we keep their memories alive through us. I wish your family the best and peace be within your hearts.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
