Siento que Asia, una niņa tan joven, muriera en manos de terroristas. Siempre estaras con nosotros.
[I am sorry that Asia, such a young girl, would die in the hands of terrorists. You will always be with us.]

Asia was the sweetest bundle of joy, and she had that teddy bear feeling in her hugs. She got that from her father. They had a way of embracing people and making them feel special, even if they really felt nothing. Mr. Cottom was my coach and gym teacher, but for some reason he was always more like a friend, and I weep for him and his family because they lost their angel to this tragedy. But we all lost a part of us when we found out Asia was no longer with her ...
My beautiful Asia, O how I miss you.
Words can never express the void this has left....
I weep for your death, but I celebrate your life,
For no other person you were like—
Unique, brilliant, and bright,
A star, a shining light....
My beautiful Asia, oh, how you are loved,
And may you rest in paradise in the skies above....

I have posted for Rodney and Bernard, and now I post for you. I saw your other site— and I love the picture they put up of you— and I weep even though it's been eight years. You three should have been in college by now, continuing to make your families proud as you always had. I pray that God opened His arms to you so quickly that day that you had no concept of fear or pain. I also pray for the teachers and their families— I, too, teach, and I see in your faces my own students. God be with your families.

I am sorry about your death, and may you R.I.P. You were so beautiful, girl. I will always pray for you.

I just wanted to say that I feel deeply for her family. I know what it feels like to pass 11 years old because I'm now 12. I'm doing a monologue for my drama class based on a 9/11 victim, being that 9/11 just passed. Mrs. Cidels is grading us based on our performance on how we think the victims of this tragedy would react if they could look back on it now. I hope I do good because I saw this person and saw the website and thought I had to do this. Asia Cottom was a very sweet person in my eyes and my thoughts. Frankly, I think if she was still alive today, she would be an even more successful and intellectual young lady. She would've represented all of the people who aspired to be just like her. She was a very inspirational role model for us young ladies today. So R.I.P. and B.B.C. (Be Blessed Constantly).
Peace, love, and happiness,
Shntaye
Dis one 4 u Asia!

Dear Asia,
Your picture is on our fridge. I just tried to explain 9-11 to my 7 year old. She doesn't understand. I promise to take her to your bench at the Pentagon, and I also promise that she will know you.

Even though I didn't know her, my thoughts and prayers are with her family. My son was only 1 1/2 when this happened, I can only imagine what her family is going through. She will be missed.

Oh, Asia. How afraid you must have been that day, just as I had seen. I was on the ground while you were in the sky. But I know that when you turned your head in despair, God was right there, and everything was all right. May God bless your soul.

As angels carried them to the sky... 3 mothers wept.
As God checked his book of life... 3 mothers wept.
As Gabriel opened the gates... 3 mothers wept.
6 years ago they left their mark... today 3 mothers wept.
Peace to our young ambassadors who were gone too soon:

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
what kind of person he/she was,
what nice points you remember about him/her,
what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
what you two perhaps did together,
what he/she meant to you,
or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
The video below is a song you might like by 24K Gold Music shows, called Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
