Great professional.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Barbara. I loved seeing her with Nancy Grace on Larry King Live and so admired her for her conviction of right and wrong and that we should all be accountable for our actions. She is truly missed I am sure by her husband, family and friends and her fans. Hopefully she knew she had fans like me who believe in
truth and justice. A beautiful lady from the inside out.

Barbara:

I would always watch you on the talk shows and miss seeing you there.  God bless you and keep you in His care

Barbara:

Thank you so much for your service to our country. You are truly missed by your family and friends. Rest in Peace.

All that fall, I used to take flowers and visit the ad hoc memorial site on the hill overlooking the Pentagon. I saw the tree that Barbara's friends and loved ones had made into a memorial for her...one note said, "You were so brave." She was. They all were.

Barbara, I worked for you in 1989, or thereabouts at Wilmer, Cutler. Every time I eat bean curd, or drink something soy - I remember you. Every once and while I run into someone who knew you. I think of you often. I can only pray you are at peace now.

Dear Barbara,
It infuriates me when people denigrate the memory of you and others who died by their stupid, pointless, politicized theories. I loved reading your books and seeing you on the talk shows. Every time I think of you or hear the words "seventy-seven" or "Pentagon" I get sad then angry. I think of you a lot and was very upset when I saw on the Internet that you were one of the victims since you were on your way to the Politically Incorrect show. How terrible too that your husband Thedore's birthday was 9-11. Rest in peace and we will continue to fight your battles for you.

I was always pleased to see Barbara as a guest on one of the talk shows.  She was a warm spirited person and had a great disposition, even under fire.  She was always candid and straight forward, backing her comments up with logic and sourced information.  I'm sure she faced death with the same courage she faced life with.

God bless her and keep her.  I hope I am there to see her in the resurrection.

I would tune in to Larry King Live to watch Barbara tell it like it was during the Gary Condit scandal. I was shocked when I found out she died during this tragedy.
I pray for her and everyone that things will be okay...

Although I did not agree with her on many things, I still feel the loss of her spirit and the fight she brought to her cause.  You see, even we liberals have hearts and heart songs we listen to.

I cannot still believe this all happened. Barbara Olson was a wonderful Conservative person whose wisdom helped me see [...].  I know she was a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I know I will see her and many others again someday! God Bless America!

Although I've only seen you a few short times on tv, you have made an impact on my belief as a conservative.  May GOD forever hold you close.

remarkable life in service to her country

It's sad that 176 people have visited  this page yet not too many comments.  I met Barbara's sister after this horrible event.  I had lost my loved one in Tower Two, she had lost her beloved sister.  We were both grieving and hearing what a wonderful sister Barbara was, I had to run out and get her book.  Of course I recognised the beautiful woman on tv but  never made the connection.  My prayers and thoughts still go out to Barbara's family, esp her sister.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
