Keefe and I were friends on Eastern Parkway back in the 70s. He was the smartest and cutest boy on the block. We used to sit for hours on the stoop just talking about stuff like math! We lost touch when my family moved away, but form the comments here, he grew up to be just the type of person he was then; a fun, smart, loving family man. Keefe, God rest your soul and God bless your family and friends.

Keefe,
Hope your still smiling..... Lots of good memories and lots of great thoughts on you from the old Irish crew from fitzpatricks....
Never knew your first name was Benjamin.... We would have laughed at that as you perfected your sole bonne femme...and sweated up a storm in the kitchen...... The good old days....

On the first anniversary of 9-11, as the names of the victims were read aloud at the memorial service, I wrote two names in my Bible. One of those names was Benjamin Keefe Clark. I asked God to reveal to me the names of two people, whose families that He would have me to remember to pray for. Mr. Clark's name is still in my Bible. I still remember the family even though I have never met or spoken to them. I will continue to carry you in my heart - always. May God bless you and keep you until you are reunited with your loved one.

In just 1 month and 3 days, we will all pause to reflect and remember those who were lost. Today I find myself thinking of you. Today is harder than the day before. You were always a great friend, but more like family. I miss your kids so much, but I know they are all making you proud. Your cousin and I have become closer than I thought possible, and I tell you, even though I lost you, I gained your cousin, so whenever I need a reminder of you, I just look at your cousin. Till the day we meet again, Semper Fi!

Keefe was my best friend for so many years, and even after our careers separated our lives, we stayed best of friends. I will always honor his memory and his love.

Six years have passed. Has it really been that long? It seems like only yesterday that I saw you at the yearly block party on Saratoga Ave. I remember you chasing Taj around and passing by the house to see what was up. Not a day passes that I don't think about what we would be doing now if you were still here. Would you be amazed by the PS3, or more into xbox? Would we be making our picks for football season? Only god knows why he took you from us. All I ask is that you keep a warm spot for me in heaven. Forever loved, and always missed. Semper fidelis.

There is so much to say about all the marines. They are there dying for us. These people have hearts of gold. I have a couple of marines going to Iraq and it scares me to death. But they always tell me "WE NEVER LEAVE A MARINE BEHIND".

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
