On the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 I wanted to see if there was anyone with the Buchanan family name who perished in this horrific act. Now I know that someone from the same ancestry as me died on this historical day in american history. Please know not a day goes by I dont think of the unbelievable sacrifice you and everyone else that died that day gave. I promise to NEVER FORGET! God bless you brother. Firefighter/EMT Nick L. I never got to meet you, the son of my good friend Ron, but knowing your Dad, I miss the opportunities we would have enjoyed. You are not forgotten; rather you are thought of often. Brandon, you were an awesome kid! You were one of my childhood friends (from Allendale Columbia), and just an all around "good guy". When I found out that you were amongthe unfortunate from that day, my heart went out to your family, and all your friends. Your memory will live on forever. May Godd bless you and your family.

After nine years I just learned that a Buchanan was killed in the WTC attack. I didn't know Brandon, but from this day forward I will remember him on every anniversary of that tragic day. Now I have another way to remember ... as a fireman and Buchanan.

I miss you and your brother so much. But on sunny days I look up in the sky and know that you two are in a better place and together, and most of all, watching over me and everyone else. I love you and Cam and miss you guys more than words could explain. <3

Brandon, I know you will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I know you and your brother are up in heaven looking down on them and all your friends from the Honeoye Falls area.
