Bryan and I were in the same class at BC. I considered him a friend and continue to think of him and his family and friends on this 10th anniversary of 9/11. Bryan, while you are missed, I know that your life remains a memorial that will never be forgotten. God bless your family and friends.

Bryan —

Remembering you on this most eventful day. I pray for your family often, especially for your mother.

I worked with Bryan at Investors Bank and Trust in Boston during the late 1990s. Bryan was such a nice guy that the whole group had a lot of fun. I had other colleagues who worked in tower 7 on that day, who were the lucky ones. I also have a neighbor who lost a son on one of the planes. They have a memorial in their yard that I walk by every day while walking my dog, and as I result, I think of Bryan nearly every day. Bryan touched a lot of lives.

Always thinking about you and your smile.

I think about you more often living in Hoboken. Something tremendous is missing from the skyline I was eager to come home to. Someone tremendous is missing from the lives of your family and friends.
I hope you and your dad are shining down on your sisters and mother this sad morning.
May you always rest in peace. You'll never be forgotten.

Today, while walking my dog in the park near my house in Nutley, NJ, I came upon a tree planted in memory of Bryan Craig Bennett. I am 25 years old now, the age Bryan was in 2001, and cannot imagine the tragic loss suffered by those who loved him. I also just noticed from a post dated 7/29/09 that today is Bryan's birthday. Happy Birthday, Bryan. May you rest in peace. And may your friends and family find some peace in knowing that his memory continues to touch lives.

My name is Bryan Bennett. I'm from the Detroit area. I didn't know what it was like to lose someone that close to someone until this year. My mother passed away from cancer. My thoughts and prayers to your family. I'm not sure exactly why, but one day I decided to Google my own name, and this article is what came up. For some reason I think of him often. It's almost like a connection. I hope my mother has taken the time to meet him. From what I've read, he is a great person. Best wishes.

We all remember when when Lourdes and Lily's Mom had a baby boy.  The family was so excited and rightfully so.  He was a nice person from a great family who misses him very much.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
