Although I didn't know him, I made a quilt block in his memory. It is part of the United in Memory 9/11 Victims Memorial Quilt, an amazing and heartfelt project that was undertaken by Corey Gammel. The quilt is over 1/4 mile long when the panels are laid out end to end. It is truly a beautiful and moving memorial. In case his friends and family did not get a chance to see it when it was touring the country, I wanted to share a picture of it here on Carl's memorial page. *** Posted by Diane on 2010-09-13 ***

nice points about you-funny, loving and a great artist with lots of raw talent. my relationship with carl-he was born when i was 12.  he was my real life baby doll. i loved him like my own and that never changed as adults he knew and i knew we had a deep love for each other. if he wanted me to attend an event all he had to do is ask me.  encouraging to others-dont let other nonsense get in the way-make time for the people you love and dont let anyone/anything stop you *** Posted by aunt jo on 2006-07-20 ***

The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
