Carolyn was such a warm hearted and loving person. I miss her more than words can say.

I met Carolyn and immediately thought, what a very cool mom. She was very sweet and funny. My prayers go out to her family and friends. Carolyn was a great woman who always had a smile on her face. I could see how proud she was of her family and how great she lived life. I will never forget.

Robert
I had the pleasure of working with your mother Caroline many years ago in N.Y.C. for a company named Walter Kidde Constructors and Engineers, 19 Rector Street.  Your mother is an amazing woman and it is no wonder that you were the hero.  My darling daughter and son are about the same age as you and I cannot imagine the pain of losing them.  God love you Robert and my prayers are with your mother every day withoout fail for her peace of mind.  Keep watching over us down here until we meet again.

I've yet to meet someone so beautiful as Carolyn was.  Her beauty was not only on the outside, as she was absolutely gorgeous, but filled all of her inside as well.
I personally came to know her through Real Estate by selling some of her units she had.  That relationship blossomed into quite a remarkable one as we really loved one another, the more time we spent with eachother the better it became.
She always looked out for me so I could meet more of her friends as she was so impressed with my work ethics.
She was such a joy and so much fun to be around, always positive and full of energy!
I was devastated when I read her name scroll across the bottom of my TV screen (I was in Italy at the time, when I saw all of this horror unfold).
Yesterday I finally got the courage to see United 93 and of course, I started to lose it when I saw the passangers call out to their loved ones...CAROLYN was what I was thinking of.  How much she loved her kids and family and what she must have felt like being trapped in such a horrible suicide mission.
My prayers and love continually remember Carolyn as she was one of the rarest human beings that was takend away from all of us, way too early and so unfairly.
I will always charish our times together and will never forget.
With Love,
Enzo

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.

24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.

24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.

Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
