R.I.P. <3 You're with the angels now, little one. xx

Although I did not know Christine, I think of her often. It makes me so sad. I am truly sorry.

When I saw the scroll of victims' names nine years ago, this one was stuck out to me because our daughter was also 2. Her parents were the same age as my wife and I were. And they were going to Disneyland. We were going there months later.

At the time I wanted to do something special for the loved ones from this family, but I didn't know how. I still don't.

Rest in peace.

RIP..Little Angel

*** Posted by Michele on 2010-09-11 ***

On this the anniversary of that terrible day My daughter has just turned 3yrs old. I look at her smiling, running around, dancing, watching herself pull faces in the mirror, telling me I'm her best friend. My heart breaks that this happened to someone so young who had nothing to do with anything other than be a child. I will always remember that day and I will always remember to tell my little one I love her because you can never know what tomorrow will bring.
Your in our prayers and our thoughts from Wales UK.

She must have been a loving girl. I'm sorry about what happened.

Take heart. Christine had a short life, but will never be forgotten. Her sweet innocence may make everyone see how senseless all this hatred is.
Love you, Christine.

I was young when it happened, but now I'm understanding it better, and it truly was tragic. I am still as confused as I was then, but my thoughts and prayers are with the lost ones and their loved ones. May God bless! And to Christine, heaven's around you. You're now an angel among us, along with your parents. My heart goes out to you. And now you're safe forever in your parents' arms and the lord's as well. You will not be forgotten. God bless once again.

Today in my R.e class we were learning about 911 and I was only 4 when it happened. I was so sad to hear that a child as young as 2 was killed in this attack. In Scotland we have only really had the Glasgow airport bombings which only killed the terrorists so I do not know how hard it must be. I am terribly sorry for the family and friends of the Hansons. To think that she was on her way to Disneyland and for the terrorists to look into that child's eyes and know what they are going to do sickens me. All the best to The Hanson family.

My God Bless every life that was lost!

God said, "I need a new angel to walk with me on the streets of gold, and Christine, you are the perfect little angel." May God bless the Hanson family, and as well for the other lives that were lost, my prayers for each and every one of them.

Happy 11th birthday, Christine! We miss you!

I am so sorry for the loss that has happened to your loved one. I hope that she rests in peace, and may god put his love and care in the little one. I am truly sorry my best sister died in the crash. Her name was Christeen. She was 6 years younger than me. I cry every night wishing I could go back in time to tell her to stay with me instead of going home to her husband's parents' house. I hope that you will have your loved one home, and I just wish that she would have been able to go with everyone. May she rest in peace ... FOREVER!

Love,
Layla

I'm from England, and I wanna say that we love you, Christine, and just know that you're flying with angels now.

Christine,

Words can't describe how loved you were and how loved you are now. I'm sure of that. You're up there now, and all the pain and grief is over. You're watching over everyone now. You're up there playing with kids your age; you even might be playing with my cousin this very moment. You live within our hearts.

Tragic. Since I am an atheist I do not have the comfort to believe Christine is in heaven. They took her life. I feel very sorry for the victims who spent almost an hour in agony.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
