I have a three- and a five-year-old, and thinking of little Christine sitting with her parents, probably very frightened and scared, on that plane just makes me tear up and cry every time. I pray for their family every anniversary of 9/11, as I know that it never gets any easier for them. May all the victims and their families always be remembered on this day. Rest in peace, little Christine.

May all those lost on 9/11 rest in peace.
I have a 3 yr old niece and can't even imagine how much pain and sorrow they've been through.

This is so sad. I wish Christine's family all the happiness in the world.

Your story reduced me to tears. The hijackers must have seen you aboard, and to look a child in the eye and perform an act so monstrous sickens me. I find comfort knowing you did not pass alone, but in your parents arms. We will never let your memory die. Rest in peace. x

Christine,

I swear to you, with all that I am, that I will do everything within my power to ensure that no person or child ever goes through what you, your family, and so many others did that awful day. It's the memory of you and of all the other tragic victims of 9-11-01 that keeps me motivated, with mental clarity, towards my mission.... I see your smile in my nieces and nephews, and I won't let you or them down. My love and condolences go to your loved ones who have to bear even a second without you and your parents.

Sweet angel, you will be missed by many. I do not know you or your family, but god bless them. You are with Jesus, and he will watch over you. God bless you and your family, sweet Christine.

Christine, sweet little gift from god. I don't know you, but I just want to pay respect to you and your family and all the victims who died on that cruel day. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I know your family must have gone through a hard time, but it will go away because you're in a beautiful place called heaven with god. We will always remember you, sweet little angel!

I'm just an 14 year old boy from Austria. I was 6 years old when 9/11 happened. Now I think about the day a lot, and I just want to say that my heart is with everyone who lost their lives in that brutal attack. I didn't know any of the victims but I'd like to have because all of them, whatever their nationality, skin colour, or religion, were great people. Because of that, I want to say to all the families who lost their friend, husband, wife, son, daughter, boyfriend, girlfriend, uncle, aunt, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, or just their neighbor, you should be very proud of them. They were all heroes. My special thanks is for all the firefighters, policeman, and other rescue workers who lost their lives trying to evacuate as many people as possible from the twin towers. GOD BLESS THEM ALL, ESPECIALLY YOU, CHRISTIE!

God called some of his beautiful angels home on September 11, 2001, and among those angels were the Hanson family. I do not personally know the Hansons, but may God Bless their remaining relatives, and may the three of them watch over us and live in peace for eternity.

An angel closed the book of life and said, "Too beautiful for earth." God needed another beautiful angel...her name was Christine.

Who knows what great things you might have done? Rest in peace, safe in the bosom of God.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
