Roger and I will always remember Christine with great affection since she introduced us 29 years ago in Newcastle when she was just out of university. She was my bridesmaid when I married Roger and looked quite a picture. She was very much the bubbly character everyone described. Our thoughts are with William and Tabitha.

Christine was a much loved family friend. We would love to get in touch with William and Tabitha.

A former colleague.

I was at university with Christina. I remember her as level headed, principled, compassionate and helpful to others.

I worked at the time for American Express and booked Christines trip to the states. I will never forget her although I did not really know her. I often remember her and another colleague from Accenture who also died. I hope her family are all well and keeping alive her memories.

I do not know who Christine is, but she had a very good spirit that made some many people cherish their moments with her. God bless all of you, and I am sure someday we will meet this beloved lady in heaven with Jesus.

I'm from Stonewall, Louisiana. 9-11 was a very sad day that we will all remember. I did not know Christine, but I'm sure she's with GOD. GOD BLESS YOU, CHRISTINE, AND YOUR FAMILY!

I remember Christine since Tabitha is my best friend, and I used to see her dropping off Tabitha. She was very pretty and looked a lot like Tabitha. I hope she is happy in heaven.

With love,

I worked with Christine at the M&G in Cheltenham, England in the 80's. Little lady, big character and engaging personality. It was my pleasure. God bless.

I went to University with Chris.
Later she gave me the courage to change career from an unhappy one to one which was much more suited.
She also taught me to swim at age 28.

Christine was a little tiger, a huge personality in a teeny-weeny little body. I am a huge Amazonian woman, so we looked quite a sight walking down the street together! We worked together prior to 9/11. I often think of her. Sometimes you meet someone, and they stay with you forever.

Thank you so much for this post. It means a lot to me. I am Rosie, by the way, the daughter of Bill's brother Ben. Just thank you, so much. xx

Christine was my manager and mentor at work. She had an opinion about everything and although she was only a tiny lady, she had real presence. She loved her daughter Tabitha and husband William very much and talked about them at work all the time - she even had photos and pictures that Tabitha had drawn in her drawer. She used to make me laugh, such as her story about her getting on the wrong train and insisting that it stopped at her station, even though it wasn't scheduled to. The train slammed on the brakes so she could hop off - and it got stuck there and an engineering crew was called. Christine slipped away, hoping the commuters on the train wouldn't realize she had caused their delay..! If you knew what a gentle, quiet person Christine looked like, you would find it an amusing image too. She was a real character. x

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
