chris,

I lived next door to your dad when I was little. You were such an amazing, caring person. Always asking how my mom and dad and brother were doing. I think about you all the time and the bravery you displayed on 9/11/01..you are my hero and always will be. may you forever rest in peace xoxo

It's obvious you are missed by so many. I dedicated mile #59 of 2,752 to you ... one for each of the victims of 9/11. Rest in peace. We still remember all of you.

I am doing a project about you. I wish that you were still alive. I would ask you to come to Southeast Middle School in GA. I hope you rest in peace.

I'm not related to Chris, but my heart goes out to his family and to all the families of the 9-11 victims.

He was my cousin, his mother is my aunt. He is a HERO.

I believe my late husband was related to Christopher through his mother's family. Regardless, I feel Christopher died an American hero. He is missed and prayed for every day by people whom he probably never knew.

My maiden name was Amoroso, and I live in England. I was so touched by the heroic actions of Christopher, and I would be so proud if I were related to him. To do what he did that day was so brave and courageous. He was a truly caring person. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Christopher, you are in my prayers. May you rest in peace. God bless you always. xx

As many others have said, you are a hero. My grandad was an Amoroso, and I would be very proud to be related to such a caring person. Your actions that day saved many, many lives, and I'm sure they will be eternally grateful. My thoughts are with your family. Rest in peace. x

God bless you, man. May you rest eternally in peace. Your courage will never, ever be forgotten.

Right after 9-11-01, I purchased a metal bracelet with Chris' name on it as part of a fund raiser. At the time, he was one of the missing. I did not realize what a true hero he was until today (9-11-08). I am very proud (and sad) to wear his name on this day.

Chris,

We all love and miss you terribly. Keep watch over your brothers and sisters, Sophia, Alyssa, and Chris.

Love you,

Chris was a great guy. Anyone who knew him would think so. He always put a smile one everyone's face. He was my buddy in high school, and I miss him dearly.

On a recent visit to NY, I stopped by ground zero to pay my respects to all of the victims. Christopher's name obviously stood out to me. God bless him and all the victims who lost their lives on that tragic day.

I am twelve, and I know that Chris died a very horrible death, and I am very sorry for his family. I am very interested in the part he played in helping those people! I have to write an essay on a modern-day hero within the last 50 years, and it is on Christopher Amoroso because what he did was very courageous, and I believe he is a hero and deserves to be recognized. My mom works for the Twin Towers Ophan Fund to help the kids that lost parents in the bombing!

For whoever reads this, I know in my heart that Chris died a courageous death. Not a day goes by that I don't think about all of those who lost their lives on that terrible day. I want to thank Chris and all the others who died that day for paying the ultimate price for my freedoms. I will continue to keep you and the rest of the nation, even the rest of the world, in my prayers. May God bless you every day for what you have done for all of us.

I knew Chris the little boy. I grew up with his dad and uncle Ted. I think of him often and what his family is going thru. My heart goes out to his wife and daughter as well. I have some Birthday video of him and his sister when they were little. I just want to say, God Bless you Chris, and I guess God needed a very special angel because that is what he got.

Love,
Debbie

I use to babysit him and his sister when they were little. Chris was a happy and kind child. I used to see him by his grandmother's house, she lived a few houses down from my family home, and my brothers and sister went to school with his father. God bless and I keep the memory of him.

I think of you often Chris! Changed my wedding song.... The Glen Mederos song is for you....I miss you.. You and your family are in my prayers always!

I went to high school with Christopher Amoroso. He was the kind of person that could make anyone laugh anytime, he was extremely caring and sweet and was the typical best "guy" friend, always being a shoulder to cry if you needed him. He could easily be described as a big teddy bear. He is dearly missed by so many. He was taken away from us too soon but was taken away doing what he did best, helping others. Rest in peace my friend. I keep you in my prayers each and every day.
