The flag honoring Christopher now hangs in our office. It has hung at our Healing Field in Rockford, Michigan for the last five days and now will be with us in respect of him and remembrance of 911. Blessings to his family.

Chaf,
Thinking of you today. I still find myself thinking back to the high school days and laughing. I truly enjoyed your friendship and will never forget you. I'm sure right now you are making people laugh up in heaven. God bless you, Chris.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of Ciaf. It's not possible to me that he's been gone for 8 years. I still keep his picture in my wallet and on my computer screen to remind me every day how precious life is.
Ciaf was a huge part of my childhood. I will always consider him much more than a friend, he was without a doubt part of my family. He was an amazing person and one of the funniest people I know.
Ciaf, you always in my thoughts and I look forward to the day I see you again....
Love, Jayne xoxo

Chaf,
I can't believe it has been six years. It seems like just yesterday you would come over my house after school to work out--or should I say try to work out. We would spend two hours laughing and joking in between sets. You were always someone I considered a close friend, and it was great seeing you at Diane's wedding. I never thought that would be our last conversation. I will always remember you, Chaf, and all the laughs we had. God Bless.

Ciaf, (as many of his close friends called him) was simply one of the greatest human beings I have ever known. It was a priviledge to call him a great friend for nearly 20 years. Not a day goes by that he doesn't pop into my thoughts. I always think of the last time I saw him (at my wedding) and it brings tears to my eyes. Like many people in my life, I took it for granted that he would always be there.
For anyone who had the honor of knowing him, you certainly know what I mean. He was a "one of a kind", dynamic person. Nobody has ever made me laugh harder than Chris. I loved the guy. It was an honor to have known him and I hope I was able to give "something" back at his memorial, when I had the honor of speaking about him at the Cornell Club in Manhattan, NY. I hope he liked it, but knowing Ciaf, he would have dreaded the attention! For me it was an honor to publicly speak about a great human being and great friend.
I will never forget.

Chris,
Today is 5 years when you were taken from us. There are no words to describe how much we miss you. I have a tremendous amount of great memories dating you and all the fun things we did your last year on earth. I am so glad you shared your last Christmas with my entire family so they have great memories like myself of you. Also, I am glad my family from Norway was able to meet you as they had so much fun with us when they were visiting NY. We have A LOT of great memories and times together. I know you are fine where you are now. You are probably globe trotting ;O) to different places we talked about wanting to visit some day and saying your "Fun, Fun, Fun" Enjoy your journey Chris and may God's hands protect and guide you everyday - till we meet again. Love always, Sonja xoxo

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
