From those who will always remember
A time we will never forget

Even after all these years, when I think of Knox and high school, I still miss you—someone who stood by my side, and walked side by side with me at graduation. You had a great gift for laughter, and your smile was contagious. The sun is not as bright, the sky is not as clear, without you, my friend. May God bless....

Hello Chris:
Today we honor you. You will always be someone who cheers everyone around you. When I think of you I smile. We had a great time at Knox. You are a very special person in my life. I will always remember you. God bless you my friend and someday we will be laughing again together.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Chris was and always will be a true friend. My senior year at Knox, I was assigned to be Chris' "big brother." What an easy job! He was just an all-around great person. We had a lot of laughs. The last time I saw Chris was at his graduation from Knox. I was the Marine in dress blues. SEMPER FI, CHRIS.

Family,
I think of you all often, and hope that you’re doing well. The day my father past away was the day I lost fear of leaving. I long for the day to see him again, but cherish the time and contributions I still need to make. It’s the family members I will leave behind and the hope they live everyday with the understanding that I am with and have all that I need when I’m gone. Being the person I understood Chris to be, I know that he would not sleep well if he thought any one of us was living with a heavy heart. My hope is you find a way to live while anticipating the celebration of being with him again someday.

A wonderful son so full of life, so generous. Loved by his parents, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and scores of friends. We all will miss you and know we will meet again after our lives on earth are finished.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
