I'm not sure how it is possible it has been so long. I still smile when I see a probe drive by and I can faintly hear you say get to class. You will never be forgotten.

Christopher is buried near my husband at St. Joseph's Cemetery. I visit my husband's grave and look over at Christopher's as well and know that my husband is close to a true American hero. I hope this post of mine is appropriate.

It's been eight years, and I feel like it was yesterday that all of this happened. You are missed very much, and though we never got to meet, I heard so much about you from your brother. You will always be in my prayers. May you watch over and protect those whom you loved so very much. You will never be forgotten.

Though you have been gone 8 years today you have never been forgotten! It's not goodbye, it's see you later.

It is so hard to believe it has been 8 long years since I last saw you. Not a day goes by that you are not in my thoughts. I miss you so very much and wish this day were not so!
Until we meet again, all my love,
Aunt Nor-Nor

Christopher,

You may have left us but for a little while. I know we shall all meet again. A day doesn't go by that you are not in my thoughts. I savor the time we spent together and enjoyed our life. Until we all meet again, Chris. My love and thoughts are long and will patiently wait until we meet again.

It is so very hard to believe it is now 7 years since we have been together. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. You are with me always, especially when I am walking on the beach. We both so love the sea. I have shared your life story with so many people I have come in contact with. My memorial bracelet helps keep you in the mind of others. You are always and forever in my heart. I miss you terribly! Keep watch over me and all who love and miss you.

With five years behind us, we still fear the unknown. But, because of all you that are gone, we face our fear with strength in numbers for we are more united than ever. Thank you...

We miss you and we love you. Frank and I think of you often and today is especially hard. So much pain for so many people and it is a day you can never mourn alone or in silence. There will always be thoughts of you and this tragedy will never be forgotten. As you will never be forgotten.

Chris, You are very much missed, and never forgotten. Spread your wings my friend.

Christopher Traina was my beloved nephew.  He died at the all to young age of 25. I can remember with great fondness the day he was born.  I have so many wonderful memories of his growing and developing into a fine young man.  He was much loved by all who knew him.  Chris loved his job and was looking forward to moving up in his profession.  Aside from his work, Christoher had a passion for fishing and the sea.  He spent many hours on the water.  He also enjoyed spending time with his extended family.
Christopher's death has left a great rift in my life.  I so adored him and was looking forward to a great future for him.  Chris had a passion for life and is mourned and missed by his family and friends.  He is always on my mind, in my heart and prayers.  Not a day goes by that I do not miss him immensely.  My greatest consolation is that one day we will be together again.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
