I was watching the television on Sunday 11.09.11 during the broadcast of the remembrance of the incident, when your sister announced to the world the very best scheech about her beloved brother. I was deeply touched, I felt a tear drop, from my heart towards all those innocents. You were so young. May your soul rest in iternal peace, and YOU ARE A HERO TOGETHER WITH OTHERS.

I will always remember how you enjoyed sharing an Italian Christmas Eve with us. You were in awe when we began bringing out all the food. You were a good man and will be sorely missed by all those lives you touched.

Christopher
I just saw your sister on TV and she reminded us of how people will be there to catch us when we fall. To you and to all of the many, many people who passed away on that we think of you often and pray for you and your families.

Claudia Germany

I did not have the priviledge of knowing Christopher, but could not let this anniversary go past without expressing
that the sense of monumental loss should not pass without acknowledging the life of such as Christopher. For the victims of 9/11 were not only those that lost their lives, but us who remember. In Australia we honour those who lost their lives in war, with the simple statement "Lest we forget!" may we never forget the innocents that lost their lives in 9/11 or the loved ones whose broken hearts
remain. May God bless the Epps family in the years that lie ahead.
From an Australian friend

Wow, Christopher; just saw a beautiful tribute from your lovely sister today. Today marks ten years since you were taken from your family. I had to google your name, and came across this page. Just reading through the tributes written by your family, I smiled; it was as if I knew you. You were definitely a remarkable young man, and made an impact on everyone in your short life. You definitely have made an impact on me on this day the tenth anniversary of your passing. I will specifically go to the ground zero memorial to find your name. You were one loved individual, and it was that love and warm admiration expressed by your sister that drew me to find out more about you. You may have departed this earth, but you are certainly not forgotten.

I just heard Debra Epps speak at the 10 year memorial service that touched me more than my words can say. I used to live in New Jersey and people I knew were lost that day. I feel your pain and will forever carry the sorrow of that day in my heart for all Americans. May God keep us safe from those who wish to destroy our country and the innocent lives that are toched by these actions. God Bless us all.

It's 6 in the morning, and I've been up all night trying not to cry. But you're all I've been thinking about for almost 10 years. Everyday I wish I could turn back time and tell you what was gonna happen. Everyday it becomes harder and harder for me to live life without you. Since I was 10, I've tried to memorize every detail of your face, the sound of your laugh. The time in August when it was your birthday before you passed when you told me and Mommy, "You completed my Star Wars collection". Everyday I try to remember you so I can never forget. I love you and miss you so much. I wish you were here to wipe these tears from my eyes. You were my world...
Love,
BabyJaz

Christopher, Christopher, another year trying to fight back all these tears. I can’t forget you because the memory of you gets stronger every year. Like Martin and Malcolm, you’re a part of history now, in a book and on the Internet. Wow! Continue to take your rest, my friend.

I saw Christopher Epps sister's memorial on him this morning on CNN and it made me cry. Christopher is the hope of every mother who has a son and it's a terrible loss that he's no longer here. Even as a person who never knew he existed until the moment that I saw his sister speak about him, I felt his loss keenly and it made me cry. If a stranger who only knows him through the words of a sister who clearly loves him deeply can be affected so deeply, I can't even begin to imagine the loss that his family feels for him. Words can't begin to express the sympathy and empathy that I have for the Epps family.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
