I lived with Colleen in Hoboken until 1999. I remember most of all her smile, and today I am praying for her family, with heartache and tears, along with all the other families who suffered such loss. God bless all of you, bless you all and sweet Colleen, an angel in heaven.

Colleen is my distant cousin. I remember playing with her as a little girl. What I remember most is that her smile was the sunniest smile I have ever seen! It left a lasting impression on me, and I will never ever forget her. She is now an angel in heaven as she was is this place! May we meet again someday!

I am running the NYC Marathon again. I always dedicated it to the servicemen and women who died for us, and in 2001 I added 9/11. This year I was going to dedicate the marathon to 3 victims from 9/11, but I've added one more. So this year I am now dedicating my marathon to 4 victims of 9/11. One of these is Colleen Supinski. Her name will be on the back of my shirt. Seven years have come and gone so fast since this terrible tragedy. I read that she liked to run, too. May God be with her in heaven.

I remember Colleen as a sweet and smart person. We worked together at the Palmer Dairy Bar when we were 16 or 17. I still remember her after all these years. I'm now 33 years old. She left a lasting impression on me. God bless her and her family.

I didn't know you well, Colleen, as you were a few years younger than me. But I remember you as a sweet girl, and I always think of you when I look back to the high school cross-country days. I send my prayers and thoughts to you and your family.

It has been quite sometime since I have thought of the last day I spent with Colleen. She was so beautiful that day as she always was dancing around nearly the whole night with my daughters and helping me with the kids so I could get through a tough time in my life. That last day I don't remember if we had a chance to talk with her other than to say "hi," and it haunts me still. That day was bitter sweet, as it was the wedding of my brother-in-law, but my husband was stationed far away from us in Kosovo. I was having a tough night missing him and managing to keep a smile for my four children. As always Colleen was there with that beautiful smile of hers and her caring way. She spent many hours dancing with my children that night. I think that is why my girls miss her so. We were all so touched by her. I have since come to realize that we were just 4 months apart in age. Even though it has been almost 6 years since that terrible day, we think of her and miss her still. Some days are thoughts of beauty, happiness, and wonderment, others are of tears for a life cut so short. Colleen, if you are able to see this and us, please watch over my girls who miss you so much. I think it is toughest sometimes for my oldest whose name is so close to Colleen's, but I know that both remember that last day and the fun they had just spinning around the dance floor with her. Aunt Noreen, Uncle Steven, Ben, Nathan, Aunt Bernice, Dad, all of the Supinski's, Couhglin's and Dale's we are all better for having Colleen in our lives. My prayers and thoughts are forever with you all and wondering how you are doing, hoping the days are getting easier. With so much Love! Sorry if I rambled or made no sense, but I thought that it was finally time for me to put this part of me out there for all of you.

Coll, it's been five years and with your help I'm getting stronger every day. I know you're always with me, my guardian angel. I see your smile in the summer sunshine, I hear your laughter in the autumn wind, I feel your warmth on winter nights, and you touch my heart with the flowers of spring. "There are so many things that I've never said to you, things that I've never been able to say or never had the perfect opportunity, but I've always wanted you to know that you've given my life so much. You've given me so many smiles you've never even seen." Till we meet again, all my love.

I will miss and love her forever, but feel she is smiling down on us always. Grammon Supinski

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
