I read about Daniel in a Brazilian paper just a few minutes ago, and I'm really thrilled about the message that he left to his wife. From the depths of my heart, I hope that his family can live in peace and continue their lives.

Danny was an awesomely funny, caring person to know. I remember him and his wife Lisi when Brit was a baby. To this day I can't believe that he is gone and was taken from us like that. God bless Dan in heaven and Lisi and Brit. xoxo

Danny,
You were a sincere, but very funny person. I remember when Angel (Ping) died, and we were there to console each other. God bless you, and may you rest in peace. My thoughts are with you and your family.

To have loved one, then lost,
is still better than to have never been so blessed.
To have been enriched by one's cheerfulness,
their memory lingers on.
Their hopes and ideals in the crevices of your mind,
their wisdom is there when you need it.
Whatever was good and noble within your loved one,
they still live through you.
May their life have had purpose and meaning
by keeping their good seed alive.
Only then can we truly say,
"In Loving Memory."

I did not know him, but I do feel bad about what happened. My son turned two years old on that day. When I was watching the news that morning, my son's birthday was put aside by all the grief the world was going through. Do not ever forget him. I will never forget all the people who passed on that day. My thoughts and prayers are with each of the family members who suffered.

Danny Lopez was a great and funny guy. He made everyone laugh. He had a great imagination and a daring spirit. I remember the practical jokes he played on his friends and the ones I played on him. He was a great friend whom I had the pleasure to meet back in 1977 at Junior High School 50 in Williamsburg, Bklyn. God Bless You Always!

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
