I rowed in front of Danielle at Villanova when she was a freshman and I was a sophomore. Her humor and kind nature kept me motivated at 4:30 in the morning. She was clearly a very special person. I was just telling my daughter about her. All my best to you, her family (she was always talking about you, especially Eleni). May God be with you.

I saw your picture and knew there something special in you, Danielle. I am using it in a film for everyone to see. It is my hope that your memory will touch the hearts of many and help to heal the pain for your father, for Chris, and for everyone else who loved you. God bless.

Danielle lived in my dorm freshman year and was on the crew team with some of my friends. She had a unique way of making people smile. She was one of the most energetic and positive people I have ever met. She is sadly missed.

Today, there was a film on Greek TV called, "Ground Zero, the Greek Souls." I saw Danielle's smile and her parents talking about her, I saw the pain in their eyes and I burst into tears. I never met her or her family, but I just had to find out more about her, and tell you that we Greeks are by your side and pray for her and for you. I wish there was something I could do to take your pain away. My deepest condolences on your loss. Allow me to say "courage" in Greek, κουραγιο, ο θεος να την εχει καλα.

Danielle graduated from the same high school as me, Haddon Twp. I just want the Kousoulis family to know that there isn't a day that goes by that Danielle isn't remembered in the halls of the school and in the hearts of the students.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
