Dave, We hung out camping and you were the funniest kid I knew. I then got the pleasure to go to high school with you and still the funniest, happiest, and nicest person I knew. I will always remember you laughing and always making others laugh. Nothing but good memories. RIP Dave you are missed.

David...I remember you from the parking lot on Cooper Street and how I use to tell you to always tie your sneakers and you would just look at me and say O.K. On Sunday, February 12, 2012 I will be visiting the 9-11 Memorial and you will be in my thoughts and prayers...May You Rest In Peace

Dear Dave, I never met you, but tonight on the tenth anniversary of these horrible events, I purchased a flag from the Memorial Healing Field that was hosted in Carpentersville, Illinois. This was part of a dedication ceremony for their Firehouse, as they received some small beams from the actual Twin Towers. They had a flag for every casualty caused from these attacks. I picked yours because we are he same age from the bio, and are both into computers. I have left my email on this site. Should parents or a relative want this flag, it is my full intention to send it out. Rest in peace good sir.

Hey, Dave!

Remember confirmation?! You and Ray were so funny! I don't think I heard a word that poor priest uttered. It was the benefit and the curse of having alphabetical last names. You were such a treat, funny and sincere, and I know, I KNOW, that you are in heaven now, making all the angels laugh on end! Rest in peace, friend.

I grew up with David, and I remember his smiling face in school. I'll never forget the funny jokes, and I will always remember his kindhearted nature. <3 Forever eternal.

Dave, I still can't believe it, bro.... 9 years already... I remember the good times we had together working at Bacci's for Paul and Mike (the Barrel) and Bobby.. delivering pies and pasta all around Saugus, all the laughs and good times we had I will never forget....

It just seems so surreal to me still, never gets easier. I still get goosebumps and that sinking feeling in my stomach this time of year... My heart and thoughts with prayers still go out to you and your fam and I know your up there looking down on everyone watching over us...

R.i.P. Dave
I will never forget... ;(

I didn't know David, but I will be running in his memory tomorrow during the WTC Run to Remember. Thank you for sharing your stories of him—they help me to know him a little better.

I never knew him, but coming across this page, I felt like I had to leave a comment about someone who seemed to touch so many lives. Rest in peace.

I never knew David, but I noticed the beautiful memorial marker placed at Forest Glade Cemetery in his honor. It's magnificent! What a testimony of love from the family! It was only after doing an Internet search did I discover that he was lost in the 9/11 tragedies. I am so sorry for your loss.

I, too, will never forget Dave.... I went to high school with him and also hung out with him at several parties: He was ALWAYS the life of any event. I wish Dave's family all my love! R.I.P., 143.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
