I didn't know David personally, but his father is my husband's boss and is a wonderful man.... My heart goes out to his family.... Rest in peace, David.

May you be resting peacefully in heaven ... never forgotten.

I went to school with Dave, and I have to say that he always put a smile on someone's face--a very happy-go-lucky kid. We miss you and will never forget!

I often think about the last time I saw David. He was just a little kid, smiling and laughing with his brother. I wonder what would have become of him if this awful tragedy didn't happen. I knew his dad who was a good guy. I know every time 9/11 is mentioned, I think of David. He will never be forgotten. I only hope Johnny D. will overcome this pain I'm sure he's feeling. God bless David and his family.

It's not a typo, the name is the same but we are not the same person. I didn't know David but after the tragedy I got calls from people who knew me and thought I was on the plane.

My thoughts and prayers go out to David and all the other passengers on all the planes. After reading the tributes I know I would have been honored to know David DiMeglio.

I knew David when I coached Little League Baseball in Saugus, Mass. He was the youngest on our team. I named him Baby 10. As years went on I always saw Dave. He was a very respectful young man, as a matter of fact, owning a parking company in Boston I hired Dave. He took his job with great pride. The last time I saw Dave was a couple of days before 9-11 at our annual company cookout at my home on Labor Day. The loss of David leaves a void in all of our hearts and lives. God Bless David... (Baby 10)

I met David when he was working in the North End parking cars. He helped me when I stepped out of my car into a huge puddle. We instantly became friends. He was an incredible person who would drop everything to help you. I will never forget him or the impact he left on my life. David, I miss you and love you....

David was a very outgoing guy who loved "life"... I personally got to know David and those years will never be forgotten. David and I spent many days laughing, talking, and just having fun. David had a heart of gold. He was right there to help anyone in need. At one point in his life, David wanted to open up his own business (computers). That dream was going to come true for him when he returned from his trip on 9-11-01. That dream will always lay with him, and will never be forgotten by anyone.

David, we miss you and love you so much. RIP....

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
