Aunt Diane,
You are still very missed, and you will always be remembered for your boisterous laugh, your generosity, and your ever classic style. You are touching more lives every year because I get to tell my students of your life. You were and still are such a role model to me.
Love ya!

Miss you very much, I can still hear you in my head saying those wonderful words of encouragement and complaints about my kids. Thank you for all the memories, my love always, Tricia

I didn't know Diane, but I share the same name. I am from South Australia. I wanted to check on relatives and came across the sad news of a pretty Diane taken so tragically. Condolences to all the family. As long as there is someone on earth to remember Diane, her memory will live forever.

How I miss and love you only you know. Each year gets harder, and I hope soon to see you. Never stopped missing or loving you always.

Diane was a amazing fun loving person who made everyone laugh. We were cheerleaders together at CPHS, and we shared a lot of great high school memories together. Her spirit was amazing: It was so much fun going to school and practice every day, just to hear the funny things she would say and do. I moved to Florida right after High School and lost touch.... When I heard the news I was so sad. I will miss her.... She made the world smile.

I first came to know Diane Lipari in High School (CPHS) I would ask people who is that girl that is always smiling when she walking down the hallways and they told me her name. As I we would pass each other in the hallway she we would say hello as we passed each other. Then on day while I was eating lunch in the cafeteria she came over and introduced herself. She is one of the most popular girls in school sitting with me during lunch. She was so full of life and when I would go to a football game there she was a cheerleader. And what makes her even more special she was a cheerleader 24hrs a day she had what is takes to lift a person's spirit. God got a great cheerleader on September the 11th, 2001. There’s one thing for sure her memory will live forever in those who had the honor to meet her. God Bless Diane and the entire Lipari family.

On this day, the fifth anniversary of Sep. 11th I am thinking of my dear Sacred Heart girlfriend, Diane. I think of her often. She was a beautiful, smart, caring girlfriend and lots of fun. I will treasure those early years forever.

Diane will be in my heart forever.

God Bless her.

Hey, Di miss you more than you know. We all were remembering our days in Seaside Park, NJ, how you and Kathy were always causing some mischief. Please say hi to my dad and tell him I miss him, which I know he already knows. Talk with you later.

Love always, your cousin,
Tricia

P.S. Give gram a kiss for me too, plus papa & gram T. Oh, yeah, one more thing, the kids are getting really big.

I cannot believe it has been 5 years and still think about her everyday. She was the best friend someone could have. Always positive but most of all we had tons of laughs - we were always laughing or joking about something. Most times we goofed on each other. I miss her and our friendship. She was one of a kind. Diane was just a loving person - adored her mother, siblings and husband - she just wanted to be with them.

Di,
The five year mark is right around the corner, its so hard to believe its been five years when it still feels like yesterday...not a day goes by Diane that we don't think of you or speak your name. The pain and loss that we all feel today is as bad as it was on that awful day...know that you are always in our hearts as we know that you are always here in spirit....we love and miss you ever so much.....Forever your brother and sister-in-law and nieces

Aunt Diane was a perfectionist...from our hair to our outfits to the way we stood...she always wanted the best for us!  She was so successful, independent, and elegant...a perfect role model.  It's been 4 years since I last saw her and I still try to keep in my mind the way she laughed and the way she pronounced her S's.  I think of her everyday and know that she's up there looking out for me! Miss you ALWAYS Aunt Dy Fry.
Love Jackie

To Diane & her loving family.
Theres not enough words or space to describe Diane as I knew her, or to describe the anger & sorrow I feel every day over her not being here.  When people ask me about her, I tell them she was basically too good for this world.
There will never be another like her, ever.  To her family & friends, I promise to always keep her as well as that day in my heart forever.

Diane,
It's been three years and still the pain has not stopped.......nor has it lessened.  I know that you are watching over us as i can almost feel your presence everyday, and for that I thank you....I guess some things don't change, you always watched out for everyone.  Know that you are always in our thoughts and prayers and keep an extra watch over mommy, it's been a rough three years.  We love you always and forever.  P.S. Send our love and hugs to Grandma and Uncle Al....and everyone else.  Love you forever your brother Joseph and Barbara

Our beautiful Diane was a caring, giving and loving person. She went out of her way to help everyone. My sister and I had a great relationship.  She always made sure I was neat and tidy and fussed over me all the time( even at my age of 46). I miss her so much, and sometimes I think she is going to walk through my door.  The one thing that was so special about her, is the way she treated my mom.  They were so close. They were best friends, not just mother and daughter. She was like that with all of us.  She took care of everbody.  We love you Diane and you are in our heart all the time.

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.
