Dipti you are missed, especially your charm and laughter. Always available to help out when needed and such a great smile. So socialable yet a professional. I worked with Dipti at Loral-Fairchild. We were good friends as well as co-workers.

Dipti was full of life and always had a quick easy smile. We met in high school. I graduated with 1492 students yet Dipti and her bright personality is one of the students that I still remember. We lost touch and the next I heard of her was that she was part of these tragic events. Words can never capture the loss of someone lost so tragically and suddenly. May her family be comforted knowing that she will always be remembered by the people whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.

Dipti - we remember you as fun, free-spirited, and totally different from the person we expected to meet -- all in a good way. We will miss you - and you are thought of often. I listen for your name each year on the anniversary of 9/11. Rest in peace.

Dipti, we always didn't get along at LORAL/FAIRCHILD but we both got along at the same time and took our misunderstandings in light... especially at softball time :-)
Rest well pretty lady and I will visit this place often - John

As a former Loral / Fairchild employee, I knew Dipti before the terrorists crashed the planes into the twin towers. She was a lot of fun. Dipti was the biggest master of shock value that I ever met. “One could never predict what would come out of her mouth” is something that Shabbir would say about Dipti. She always had us laughing with her.
Recently I acquired Dipti’s 1996 BMW 328i convertible by pure coincidence. All of the original receipts were in the glove compartment with Dipti’s name on them. I was shocked.
The idea that Dipti was a 9/11 victim will always bother me.

Dipti,
I knew you briefly while working at Loral Fairchild. You were bright, beautiful and most importantly were able to make the people around you smile.
God bless you and your family... Lenny

I received a remembrance bracelet that was made from steel from the WTC's. On each bracelet is a name of someone lost on that day. The bracelet that I have has Dipti's name. I have researched her, and I am proud to have this name on the bracelet. I hope the best for her family.

I didn't actually know Dipti, but I came across this page accidentally. From what I gather through reading the other posts, it seems that she was a wonderful, inspiring person. May your soul rest in peace, Dipti.

Dipti,
I miss you. You were so gifted with insight into things. You were a loving Aunt, daughter and sister to your family. And a really good friend. I think of you often and I still wear the necklace that your parents gave me to remember you by with your name etched in the back of it.
I hope you have peace in Heaven. btw Happy Birthday from Sept 5.
Love always,
Meg

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
