So many lives destroyed in one day.... God must shake his head in saddness at what his creation has become. I am so sad for all those people who died and their families sorrow. These people where someones sons, daughters and parents and husbands and wives. May you all rest in peace. God Bless

I would like to thank everyone for their heartfelt words of encouragement and love. This really means a lot to me, and I will forever cherish it. For some odd reason the Holy Spirit led me to this website where I happened to read and see these wonderful comments. I am ever so thankful for this page, whoever made it. And to those who did not know her, but decided to show her some love, I thank you as well.
For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind. God bless.

Liz,
A woman who was able to make a little black girl from South Carolina feel beautiful, when “black” was not beautiful. A woman whose smile would light up a room. Thank you.
I know that you are in heaven with all the other angels. May God continue to bless your son.

Liz, you are missed. Travis was lucky to have you as a mother. Miss you much, baby girl. Until we meet again, sweet memories of you.

Liz,
It's been 7 long years since the 9-11 tragedy, and it seems like each year I miss your beautiful smile more. Today was my 24th birthday, and for some reason I could only think of you. I love you and miss you so much.
Love always,
Trice

In looking for a person's loved ones to pray for, I picked Elizabeth's from a list of 9/11 victims because our maiden names are the same. She was the only Holmes on the list. I pray that her son and other family members are doing well, though I know from losing both my parents that there will always be an emptiness. God bless you all and give you peace. I will never forget.

My last memory of you is seeing you go to work that morning and seeing your son and family come home that evening and you were not with them. You are surely missed.
Not a day goes by that you are not thought of. My prayers are always with your son and family.

Elizabeth,
We never met, I didn't even know you existed until that awful day in 2001. But I wanted to do something to help, so I ordered a bracelet and chose your name because you were listed as #1958, the year I was born, not to mention that you are a few years younger than me. On the anniversary of 9-11, I wear that bracelet to remember you and all the victims of that horrible day. I hope your family and friends find some comfort in knowing that there are people in this world who care.
Sincerely,
Wendy

I miss you girl. The last time we saw each other was a memorable one. Me you and Ann went to run on the beach, well actually you and I ran, Ann picked sea shells. I will always cherish that day, for it was the last time we would speak. Who would have ever thought.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible.
