Enrique was my neighbor, one of the first people who talked to me when I moved into this house. He was a great father, good husband, hard worker, kind and friendly neighbor, a truly decent human being.
I wish he had been here to see his daughters grow up to be beautiful women, his son a handsome young man like his dad, his adorable grandchildren. At the same time, I have no doubt that he watches them from heaven and smiles.

My uncle Enrique could never be replaced. I last saw him on September 10, 2001, and I wish I could get tell him one last goodbye. R.I.P., TIO KIKET. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!

I have no way to explain how much I love my uncle Enrique. He was the best. The last time I saw him was the day before 9-11.... I miss him so much. I wish he would be right here by our side. He was a hard-working person. I don't know how could I explain this name. Enrique Gomez is one of the best people in the world.... R.I.P., Enrique Gomez and Bienvenido Gomez. I wish I could reverse time back to the last day I saw my uncle's face. We miss you.... Gone but never forgotten in our hearts.

I did not know who you were until I had to do this project, but as a Latina, I feel that you are an example of the hardworking people that come to this country to work hard for a better life, and you did not come here to get your life taken away in that horrible manner.

Eres la viva representacion de nuestra raza en el cielo! =-)

My uncle Enrique was the most beautiful person. He was a wonderful uncle, a perfect father, and a hard worker. I describe my uncle as an outgoing person. Not only that, but he was always a happy person. I remember when I used stay over at his house, he always danced, laughed, and made funny faces. I miss that so much. As for his wife, my Aunt, and my cousins, they will never forget him. My family will never be the same without him. We will always remember my uncle Enrique. He will always be in our heart. I love u uncle and I miss u a lot.

I am 12. When my father died, I was 7. He was the best dad for me. He meant a lot to me. I'm sad and also mad because he is not here so he could see me grow up. He saw my sisters but not me. But he is still watching in a very good place called heaven. That's all I have to say.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
