On the 10th anniversary of 9-11 Saint Louis remembered each and every victim by flying 10 foot long American flags in Forest Park on Art Hill. Each flag pole had a name of a victim who lost his or her life that day. It was an amazing sight. The flags were sold afterwards and I purchased one. It has your name on it. I just want your family to know that your flag is flying proudly in my backyard and each day that I see it I am reminded of you and I say a prayer for you and your family. God bless you!

I visited 9/11 Memorial site yesterday and saw your name written on the South Pool. I immediately recognized that you must be an Indonesian. I never knew you, however, I wanna say... Bless your soul and rest in peace...

We were neighbors for but a brief moment in time. We will never forget your smile and gentle ways. May and her family loved you very much and tried to protect you. We hope that there is a heaven where you can find some meaning to the madness that cut your life so short. May you be with God and bathe in his love.

My little brother Eric,

Knowing the fact of what happened breaks my heart, but to me, you are always a brave little boy I used to know; you are a little sunshine brother I used to know; and you will always be my little brother. May God bless you forever....

Lots of love,
Brother Eugene

I dreamt of you tonight; now I am wide awake missing you. I miss seeing you smile, the smile you always had with your eyes. I prayed to the Lord tonight that He tells you how much I love you and miss you here.

Loving you always,

Dear brother,

We miss you, more than any words can say. Sorry if we have never openly shared with anyone about you, we don't know where to begin or how to put your memories into words. All we can say is, We MISS YOU every Christmas. You are always our Santa. This is just the 1st; maybe next time we can write more.

Loving sister and brother-in-law

Eric always had a smile on his face. He was a person that put his all in everything. He also loved God with all his heart. He was a very passionate worshiper, and a very good friend.

He would come to my house and hang with me and my brothers, to watch football and eat pizza. And then he would just come to hang out!

He was like a brother to me...and many other people as well. For those of you who are grieving with me, just remember that he is in a better place now...Heaven...

Eric, as the years have gone by, I've thought of you often. And every year at this time I get a feeling in my heart. It is a feeling of hurt and pain and happiness. I hurt because you are no longer here. I'm in pain because I never got to say goodbye. And I am happy because I know that you are in Heaven.

Eric, As the fifth anniversary approaches I think about you often. You were so bright and so young. You made Marketing class so much fun. I miss your jokes and wisecracks. I still can't believe this happened last year on at Newbury's graduation I and the rest of our classmates remembered you at our ceremony. You will always be remembered. I miss you and hope you keep people laughing wherever you are.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
