Rest in peace, Frank.... Your expertise would have been priceless in telling us what really happened that day. God Bless America and bring to light the real terrorists that perpetrated these heinous acts.

Dear Frank,
You don't know me and I have never met you before in my life and itís a shame that I couldn't have met someone like you. I have heard many tales of your bravery and I have found them inspiring. You are a perfect example for the rest of the world to follow. I am deeply sorry for your family because they have lost someone whom I am sure they loved dearly and I just wanted to say this to you, you are a hero! You gave up your life to save others, those people that you Pablo and Mak saved are still alive because of what you did. You will not be forgotten in your country, in mine, or anywhere else. Your body is dead but your soul and your story of life will always stay with us. Thank you Frank!

Rest In Peace Frank Albert DeMartini

Frank was an amazing hero and I think to give your life to save others is the most heroic thing a person can do.
in my prayers

I have just seen the BBC movie about this huge tragedy. It was so touching to see how Francis De Martini saved a lot of people's lives: I think he was a real hero. I'll never forget what he did.

To hear of Frank's heroism and to read the accounts in books such as '102 Minutes' makes you realise that there are few people who have true greatness and courage. What Frank De Martini did on that day was the action of a real life hero, a man who in the face of terrible personal danger chose to help others rather than himself. His memory will always live on with his imediate family and the thosands around the world who celebrate his spirit.

I hope this message gets to the family of Frank De Martini. I just found out the part he played in helping so many people in the 9/11 disaster. An inspiration to us all. he is a credit to you,a credit to America and a credit to the human race.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and for this amazing man.

I saw "In The Towers" where they talked about your father. He is a real hero and made the world a better place.

God bless you all,

Peggy

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
