I never knew Frank, never even been to NY....but I found his name and read about him. I will never forget and he will continue to touch the lives of people all over. Forever in my thoughts and prayers....

i am so sorry I let these feelings go until now..

I guess the 10 year memorial brings back the wonderful images and memories of you as a "man of iona" in 1970...you left us early but you left us with great memories--quick with your wit and you could find that "spot" in anyone and everyone that made you a trusted friend.

i am sure your family misses you but so do all of us who knew you well...

thanks frank for touching us the way you did when you were with us

Hey, Frank,

You were my first boss at Chapdelaine Corporate Securities, and I want to thank you for giving me an opportunity to work.... I always remember you with a smile on your face and full of life.... We had a lot of fun brokering.... Thanks again, and god bless you, my man.

Dear Mr. Sipple,

I am touched by your kind words and honored that somehow my actions reached out and touched you in a positive way. Thank you for your post. It means so very much to me.

I know you are watching over me, Dad. I feel your presence. Thanks for the good boost, and I know you helped me see the light looking down from above on people that were hurting me. My eyes are open, and I miss you greatly. I feel surrounded by your positive energy via the new positive people in my new year ... new start ... I feel surrounded by surrogate family. Thanks for your love. Missing you and loving you.

Dear Mister McQuinn, although I never knew you, you have touched my life through the words and actions that your wife Lynn McGuinn has taken in the years since your tragic death. Her thoughts and comments on forgiveness in the PBS film, "The Power of Forgiveness," touched me and brought me to an even deeper understanding of what it means to be human, to suffer, and to persevere in spite of great loss. May your entire family and your wife in particular continue to be well blessed and grow toward a full and loving life.

Still thinking of you, and I always smile when I do—it's been eight years, my dear. So hard to believe, incredible ... really! I can recall the day's events as if they were yesterday.... I don't think that memory will ever fade, and neither will yours. Missing you ...

Frank,

I wish wherever you are, you could be golfing on a day like this.

Well ... brand new year and brand new president ... here we go! I am wondering when I will ever be able to let you go—7 1/2 years now, and it doesn't look like that's even close. Miss our time together; it was way too short!

Hey, Frank,

My dad passed away September 20th. However, just before that we were up at Rolling Rock. I played golf by myself, and it brought back a flood of memories of the times we played there and other courses. Always thinking of you.

Best,
Stephen

Very sad year this year, Frankie. Even after these seven long years without you, I still want to turn back time. We'll stay strong and continue with our prayers for a peaceful future for all the world's children.

Hey Frankie 5 angels.... This past Memorial Day weekend and the days that followed have been the most powerful and thankful days of my life, which culminated with an amazing 72 hours spent with Lynnie at her beautiful home overlooking the 12th fairway.... Just to let you know, it's now become very clear why you fell in love with her and why she'll cherish for eternity the gift of your shared memories and everlasting spirit.... I pray for us all and especially for those who need God's forgiveness and guidance the most....

Frank,

Your amazing spirit continues to inspire me in my life. I have no doubt that your spirit and soul continues on. You were such a loving, kind, and helpful human being and still are. You are so missed and loved by so many.

Blessings,
MamaNada

Hard to believe another year has passed so quickly. I will not go to the City this year; it is no longer necessary for me to be seen publicly grieving for the great losses 9/11/01 brought this family and to our friends. Reading names at last year's commemoration gave me such a sense of closure and peace around this now historical day. I will continue on from this point with my own personal ritual honoring your memory at the gravesite that holds only your spirit and am encouraging the girls to do the same. They miss you so much, especially you-know-who! After all this time the anger is subsiding, the sadness is being allowed, and the healing has a real chance to begin for her. She has done well in spite of it all, no doubt as a result of the loving arms you wrapped around her in life, as you did with all of our girls. We are all doing pretty well. Life is challenging, however. If it wasn't, we would probably be quite bored! I will always keep your great love in my heart!

Dad- I miss you every single day and have been thinking about you constantly this past few weeks. hahaha as I'm sobbing right now, I'm just thinking about how every Sunday we would watch the history channel and eat you favorite breakfast- cream cheese on a toasted bagle with tomato and onion powder. I miss those days. But ever since your death, I just haven't been the same. Although you have taught me to live every moment of life ot the fullest, this week I just can't seem to do it haha. Even though you're not even gonna see this, hear me cry or whatever, I hope you know that I MISS YOU SO MUCH and am basically dying here without you. I wish you were here.
Loving with all my heart,
Liz

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
